Nagarkot, located in Bhaktapur District, is widely admired for its breathtaking landscapes and is a famous destination for hikers. Situated over 2000 m above sea level, it offers panoramic views of the Annapurna, Ganesh Himal, Rolwaling, Mahalangur (Everest), and Jugal Himal mountain ranges on an ideal day.
Situated atop a hill in the Shyampati VDC of the Kavre district, approximately 40 km southeast of Kathmandu, is Namo Buddha; a distinguished Tibetan Buddhist monastery and a significant attraction for visitors in Nepal.
Located at an altitude of 1550m, 36 km southeast of Kathmandu, is Dhulikhel, a town primarily inhabited by groups such as the Brahmin, Newar, Chhetri, and Tamang.
