Located about 24 miles from Kathmandu, Nagarkot stands at an elevation of 7,200 feet (2,195 meters). From this point, travelers will follow a narrow walking trail to the village of Rohini Bhanjyang, offering spectacular views of the Himalayan ranges. The rugged path continues through the small hamlets of Kankre and Tanchok to Tusal, then ascends through farms and farmland to Opi.
