Thank you Yoshi for an awesome day! - One of our best Viator experience of so many wonderful Viator tours all due to our amazing guide, Yoshiko Hattori. Yoshi is so pleasant and professional. The perfect ambassador for Japanese culture and Viator. She skillfully took us to so many popular places in Nagasaki while making the most of our time throughout the tour. Her commentary throughout the tour was interesting and insightful. We especially appreciate her sharing her father's experience as an atomic bomb survivor and her family's experience afterward. Yoshi has a unique passion and love for people, as well as her country. I highly recommend that you seek her out for the best tour ever!

Nagasaki in a day - We weren’t sure where to start so we left the itinerary up to Yoshi, our guide for the day. She mapped out our most efficient route and away we went. Yoshi was very informative along the tour even sharing her father’s story as a survivor of the Nagasaki Bombing. For lunch we stopped at a Japanese steak house which was incredible. As the day came to an end she asked if we wanted to end our day back at the hotel or at a specific spot. We chose to end it in Nagasaki’s oldest shopping street. Highly recommend this tour and Yoshi as your guide.

The Very Best Tour & Guide - Yoshi was our guide and she was the most gracious, kind, knowledgeable, easy to understand, and fun person. The tour was as described but so much more. Yoshi added so many more insights to each place we visited. Because this was a private tour of 6 we were able to be flexible. We stayed at the Atomic Bomb Museum longer. It was a somber yet educational experience. The Peace Center and hypocenter park was astonishing. Yoshi shared so much of herself and her family’s situation during that time. We had a unique lunch at a restaurant where you placed your order on a tablet and it was delivered on a moving belt. We saw beautiful sights from the top of Mt Inasa, saw the 26 Christians Martyred Monument, and saw the destruction of the Urakami Cathedral. What a beautiful day and what an incredible guide. I HIGHLY recommend this tour and if at all possible ask for Yoshi Hattori.

Fantastic Tour with Yoshi - Yoshiko Hattori is a wonderful tour guide of Nagasaki! She was easy to find at the meeting point and our 2 boys (6 &9) loved her company. Our first stop was the Atomic Bomb Museum. Yoshi advised on the parts of museum that might be too gruesome for the children. She took the boys and taught them how to fold origami cranes while we were able to continue through the rest of the museum. We then walked to the Hypocenter and Peace Park. Yoshi has lots of great local knowledge and personal stories to share regarding the history of Nagasaki which enriched our experience. Our next stop took us to the Ropeway to the observation deck on Mt. Inasayama to enjoy the views of Nagasaki. At there entrance there is a Shinto Shrine and Yoshi shared with our family the proper etiquette. The last stop with Yoshi was the stone bridges that span the Nakashima River. At Meganebashi Bridge (Spectacles Bridge) much to the delight of my children she pulled out bread for to feed the koi/carp. Thank you Yoshi for the great tour and your patient kindness with our energetic boys.
