Excellent and awesome experience - This was a truly AMAZING experience! We had only one full day for a tour, and we got so lucky to have been paired with Yoshi. She was knowledgeable, kind, and made 6 hours fly by. Also, her paper-plane training skills are second to none. This was probably the best touring experience we've ever had. It's so worth leaving a first Trip Advisor review for!

A Memorable Day with Yoshi - Our day with Yoshi began with a visit to the Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum where she guided us through the exhibits offering historical as well as personal insights into the events of August 9, 1945. Continuing on to the Hypocenter Park and the iconic Peace Statue, we were fortunate to observe a ceremony with a school group offering strings of paper cranes and solemn words. Her commentary throughout the day gave depth to our visit and a greater understanding of the effects of the atomic blast. While at the museum, Yoshi pointed out a display dedicated to Dr. Takashi Nagai. We made a detour to his home and museum which, while small, was quite informative and worthwhile. Yoshi guided us to a wonderful spot for lunch followed by a photo op at the Spectacles Bridge (thanks, Yoshi, for getting the rain to cease!) and a meander through some streets lined with markets and a local grocery shop. It was a memorable day with a personable and knowledgeable guide. Thank you, Yoshi, for a highly enjoyable day!

Great guide! Amazing intro to Nagasaki! - My guide Yoshi was great. She was very personable and really catered the day to my interests. Communication prior to the tour date was great. She contacted me well in advance and gave me various options to choose from. We passed by several sites in a short amount of time but I never felt rushed and she provided insights to a lot of the locations that you wouldn’t be able to get looking things up online. I have a few extra days in Nagasaki to explore solo and she gave me a lot of good recommendations. Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to get a solid foundation of the history of Nagasaki in a short amount of time.

Thank you Yoshi for an awesome day! - One of our best Viator experience of so many wonderful Viator tours all due to our amazing guide, Yoshiko Hattori. Yoshi is so pleasant and professional. The perfect ambassador for Japanese culture and Viator. She skillfully took us to so many popular places in Nagasaki while making the most of our time throughout the tour. Her commentary throughout the tour was interesting and insightful. We especially appreciate her sharing her father's experience as an atomic bomb survivor and her family's experience afterward. Yoshi has a unique passion and love for people, as well as her country. I highly recommend that you seek her out for the best tour ever!

Nagasaki in a day - We weren’t sure where to start so we left the itinerary up to Yoshi, our guide for the day. She mapped out our most efficient route and away we went. Yoshi was very informative along the tour even sharing her father’s story as a survivor of the Nagasaki Bombing. For lunch we stopped at a Japanese steak house which was incredible. As the day came to an end she asked if we wanted to end our day back at the hotel or at a specific spot. We chose to end it in Nagasaki’s oldest shopping street. Highly recommend this tour and Yoshi as your guide.
