  • Ahacha Bridge - This was a stone paved road during the Ryukyu Kingdom era that served as a main road connecting Shuri Castle all the way to northern Okinawa. The restored bridge and cobblestone streets will make you feel like you have traveled back in time to the Ryukyu Kingdom era.

  • 経塚の碑 - Once upon a time, this area was a place where pine trees grew thick, home to a monster that tricked people passing by and caused trouble for the villagers. It is said that over 470 years ago, a monk in training buried a pebble on which he had written a sutra to exterminate the monster. It is now said to have the power to suppress earthquakes and lightning.

MEMORABLE! - The view was amazing and that's the first time I had ever explored Japan like that. You would forget how tiresome biking was momentarily.
