Amboseli National Park - This morning, our company representative will pick you up from the airport or your accommodation in Nairobi and introduce you to your friendly, experienced driver guide. You’ll then embark on a scenic drive southeast to Amboseli National Park, arriving at the camp in time for lunch.
After lunch, set out on your first afternoon game drive, exploring the acacia woodland, freshwater swamps, scrub brush, and open plains in search of wildlife.
Amboseli National Park (392 sq km) is renowned for its stunning panoramic view of Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest freestanding mountain in the world and the highest in Africa (5,895m). Amboseli is also an elephant haven, where large African Savannah elephants roam from swamp to swamp, grazing throughout the day. Due to the plentiful water and pasture, the bull elephants here can weigh up to 6 tons. Other animals you might spot include cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, wildebeests (gnus), gazelles, hippos, and many more.
Full Day Amboseli National Park
Amboseli National Park - After breakfast, leave the camp with packed lunch boxes to enjoy in the wild under a lone flat-top acacia tree. Return to the lodge late in the evening.
Alternatively, you can start the day with an early morning game drive to see animals at their most active, then return to the lodge for a relaxed breakfast and lunch.
Spend the hottest part of the day relaxing in camp, reading your favorite book, writing in your journal about the safari, or listening to your favorite music while observing the birds. Don’t worry, the animals will be doing the same. Then, head out again in the afternoon at 16:00hrs for another drive through the park. Return to the lodge for dinner and another night under the Serengeti’s stars.

It is home to greater and lesser flamingos, both black and white rhinos, lions, leopards, buffaloes, and the endangered Rothschild’s giraffes. The southern end of the lake is the best place to see wildlife. The forested area below the Rhino Cliff is a favorite spot for lion sightings, where lionesses often sleep in the trees. Leopards are also frequently seen in the same area.
