NAIROBI – MASAI MARA
Maasai Mara National Reserve - Our team will arrange your pickup from either the airport or your Nairobi hotel and transfer you to our office. There, you’ll meet your driver-guide and other group members. Depart for Maasai Mara Game Reserve between 8:30 AM and 8:45 AM, with the first stop at the viewpoint to see the Great Rift Valley escarpment wall. After descending the escarpment, continue to Narok town for an early lunch. You’ll arrive at Miti Mingi Eco Camp around 3:00 PM, check in, and then go on an evening game drive until sunset. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.
MASAI MARA GAME VIEWING
Maasai Mara National Reserve - After breakfast at the camp, depart before 8:00 AM with a packed lunch for an extensive 9-hour game viewing. Maasai Mara has the highest number of different species, and you’ll be fortunate to see many of them. A game drive to Mara River is a must; if it’s migration time, you’ll witness it, otherwise, you’ll see crocodiles and hippos. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park and continue the game drive until 5:00 PM. Afterward, you can relax at the camp, take a nature walk with Maasai warriors, or visit a Maasai village. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp, followed by a bonfire.
MAASAI MARA – LAKE NAKURU
Lake Nakuru - Start with an early morning game drive from 6:30 AM to 8:30 AM, then return to the camp for a full breakfast. Check out and leave the Maasai Mara region for Lake Nakuru, with lunch en route. You’ll see Mount Longonot and have the option for an activity at Lake Naivasha if interested. Arrive in Nakuru Town in the evening and check in at Citymax Hotel or a similar establishment, where dinner and overnight stay will be provided.
LAKE NAKURU – AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK
Lake Nakuru - After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Lake Nakuru, known for its endangered species like rhinos and flamingos. Although flamingo numbers can vary, you’re guaranteed to see rhinos among other Big Five animals. Lake Nakuru is a small park, and within 4 hours, you’ll have seen plenty.
Amboseli National Park - Later, leave the park with lunch en route and drive to Amboseli National Park, arriving late in the evening. Proceed to Amboseli Kimana Camp for dinner and overnight stay.
AMBOSELI FULL DAY
Mount Kilimanjaro - After breakfast at the lodge, depart with a packed lunch for a full day of game viewing. Enjoy your picnic lunch at the base of Mt. Kilimanjaro and continue the game drive until 5:00 PM. You’ll see the famous Jumbo elephants of Amboseli among other animals, some grazing and bathing in the swampy areas. Return to the lodge for optional activities or relaxation with a view of Mount Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Amboseli Kimana Camp.
AMBOSELI – NAMANGA BORDER – ARUSHA
Mount Kilimanjaro - Early in the morning, have a cup of tea or coffee, then proceed for a morning game drive to enjoy the sunrise and take great pictures. During your 2-night stay in Amboseli, you’ll likely see Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa.
Arusha - Leave Amboseli National Park and drive to the Namanga border for immigration. Then, catch a shuttle bus to Arusha. Upon arrival, meet the Absolute Holiday Safaris crew and transfer to Stereo Hotel for a bed and breakfast stay. You’ll be responsible for your dinner, either at the hotel or nearby restaurants.
ARUSHA – TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
Tarangire National Park - After pickup from your Arusha hotel, meet your guide for a safari briefing, then depart with a picnic lunch for Tarangire National Park. The park runs along two rivers that attract wildlife, offering excellent game drives. During the dry season, Tarangire hosts the largest number of elephants and unique species like Greater Kudus, Ashy Starlings, and Fringed Oryx. In the evening, drive to Tarangire campsite for dinner and overnight stay.
TARANGIRE – NGORONGORO CRATER
Ngorongoro Crater - After breakfast at the camp, check out and leave Tarangire for Ngorongoro Crater, arriving before 10:00 AM at the crater gate. Ngorongoro Crater is one of the seven wonders, named after a large volcanic caldera in Tanzania’s crater highlands. Descend into the crater with a picnic lunch and enjoy a game drive. The crater is home to thousands of animals, including the rare black rhinos. After a picnic lunch, ascend to Simba Camp for dinner and overnight stay.
NGORONGORO CRATER – SERENGETI
Serengeti National Park - Early in the morning, after breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park. Located in northern Tanzania, Serengeti is famous for the annual migration of wildebeest and zebras. Some cross the crocodile-infested Grumeti River, while others head northeast to Lobo Hills, home to black rhinos and black eagles.
Olduvai Gorge Museum - You can request a stop at the Olduvai Gorge Museum if interested. Arrive in Serengeti in the late afternoon, check in, and go on an evening game drive. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.
SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK FULL DAY
Serengeti National Park - Spend a full day in Serengeti for an extensive game drive. Depart with a picnic lunch and explore the park, which hosts thousands of animal species. After a picnic lunch, continue the game drive until 5:00 PM. Optional activities include visiting the local community. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.
SERENGETI – LAKE MANYARA
Lake Manyara National Park - Start with an early morning game drive from 6:30 AM to 9:30 AM, then return to the camp for a full breakfast. Depart with a final game drive en route to the main gate, exiting at noon. Drive to the Lake Manyara region, arriving late in the evening for dinner and overnight stay at the camp.
LAKE MANYARA – ARUSHA
Lake Manyara National Park - After breakfast at the camp, enjoy a game drive from morning to late afternoon at Lake Manyara. The park has a good road network for game viewing. Spend the day spotting different animal species and watching flocks of flamingos. Later, leave Lake Manyara and drive to Arusha, where your guide will drop you at the hotel.
ARUSHA – NAIROBI
Nairobi - After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to a shuttle bus back to Nairobi. You can choose between the morning or afternoon shuttle. Upon arrival in Nairobi, you’ll be dropped off at the airport or your Nairobi hotel.
