Ol Pejeta Conservancy - Morning pick up at 8:00 am and then drive through lush tea and coffee estates to Ol Pejeta Conservancy (Sweet Waters); arriving time for lunch at the Camp as well check in. Ol Pejeta is the only sanctuary for rehabilitation in Kenya of these widely abused chimpanzees with two groups living in an environment as close to their natural habitat as possible. The Ol Pejeta Conservancy is a 360 km^2 wildlife sanctuary operating on a not-for-profit basis, located in the heart of Kenya’s Laikipia County in Central Kenya. It is positioned on the equator to the west of Nanyuki, nestled between the lower slopes of the Aberdares and Mount Kenya.

Would recommend everyone to go there once in life to have the experience. - 2 nights and 3days in Sweetwaters Serena camp experiencing staying in tents and enjoying wildlife. We were group of 9 ladies from Canada enjoying Africa. Ol Pejeta Conservancy is the only sanctuary for rehabilitation of abused chimpanzees and also a dedicated black rhinoceros breeding area. The Ol Pejeta Conservancy is a 360 km² not-for-profit wildlife conservancy in Central Kenya's Laikipia County. Situated on the equator west of Nanyuki, between the foothills of the Aberdares and Mount Kenya.
