Excellent - Over this pandemic period things have been tough and I needed a break from everything and Besh African adventures just facilitated the best ever get away for me. I got to witness one of the seven wonders of the world,,,the migration of wild beasts ,,it's phenomenal. The stay at Base Camp was the best, there meals and services were amazing. It was an excellent get away all thanks to Besh African Adventures.

Magical Kenya! - As a Kenyan, I have often procrastinated my visit to the game park. The boredoms brought by the covid pandemic forced me to consider making the trip a reality. After a decade of intention, I made it happen, thanks to the exemplary services offered by Besh African Adventures!I enjoyed a 3-day game drive to the Maasai Mara with friends & it was awesome! topped with a breath taking sight of the savannah plains, the big five & the once 7th wonder of the world, the wildebeest migration. I recommend the tour agency for future travel arrangements, I sure will ask for their service the next holiday season.

So Many Animals! - Off to a bit of a rough start, but things smoothed out later. We landed in Nairobi late, tried to confirm our tour was picking us up at the right hotel but Besh Adventures told us they never received payment from Viator (we paid Viator the previous month). Called Viator, they said payment was made and contacted Besh to no avail. When Besh arrived, they said we needed to pay again or we couldn't go on the tour. They asked for a cash payment, drove us to an atm but we insisted that we could only pay via credit card. This resulted in a 2 hour drive in Nairobi to their sister office to pay by credit card. Besh did contact Viator to tell them we paid in-person so Viator issued a refund of the first payment. Not sure who's fault it was but seems like some back office confusion resulted in hours of lost time (so definitely confirm your reservation and pick multiple times before you depart for Nairobi). We also did not get the lodging we thought we booked. Again, not sure if this is a Viator issue or Besh Adventure issue. On the Viator website, it says Base Camp. I called Viator before I booked and they confirmed we would be paying for and staying at Base Camp (located inside Masai Mara). Upon arrival to the Masai Mara, we were put at Rhino Tourist Camp (which is located outside of the Masai Mara). Rhino tourist camp was meh - read the reviews on that. Besh did their best to make up for the confusion and was very apologetic. Back to the trip...bring some snacks and be prepared for mind numbing traffic in Nairobi with terrible smog. Once you get outside of the city, most roads are 2 lane roads with random citizen made check points. It's a good 4-5 hour drive to the park. Our driver (Ambrose) was great. Very aggressive (which is what you need or you'd be stuck in traffic for hours more). Apparently everyone off roads there just to get around traffic. Overall, we missed the migration but there was still so many animals. Elephants, giraffes, buffalo, cheetahs, lions, hyenas, crocs, the list goes on. We saw a fresh kill (lion was still eating the poor antelope), saw lions mating, etc. The scenery is akin to being in a postcard. Definitely recommend this trip, just confirm all reservations (multiple times) with both Viator and the tour group before arriving.
