Exciting Kenya ana Masai Mara - The most amazing Safari ever. The sightings we had were extra ordinary. From the elusive leopard to cheetahs and prides of lions countless zebras, giraffes, impalas, gazelles, hynehas, hippos, exotic birds, you name it and we saw it. Robert, an exceptional driver and guide, definately want him on all our future Safaris, James who curated the tour is very patient and helpful. Amazing Lifetime memory of Masai Mara with AJ Kenya - When we made our travel plans for Masai Mara we were very skeptical to choose our travel agency. We came across AJ Kenya Safaris on web and contacted through WhatsApp, we were immediately responded by Mr James who made all our travel plans and gave us very good options and schedule for a well-planned Itinerary. We were greeted personally by Mr James at the Airport who gave us a brief regards our 5 day stay at Masai mara. We were assigned a very experienced and truly remarkable person Mike who was our guide throughout our tour. The 5 days were really some of our splendid moments in our life. We had our first game drive immediately after lunch where we spotted only some giraffes and antelopes. The remaining days we would move with picnic lunches for full day game drive, throughout our tour Mike gave us a splendid safari where we could spot all the Big 5. We spotted prides of lions, cheetah, leopard, herds of elephants, buffalo, and yes the prize of all Black RHINO a family of 3. When we shared our experience even the local Masai and hotel staff were astonished that we could spot 3 black double horned rhinos in Masai mara in single place as they are very hard to spot. This was all possible because of Mike. We also had a wonderful experience in Hot Air Ballon safari at 6.30 am where we could see the vast expanse of Savannah also enjoy the champagne breakfast. We left Masai Mara with heavy heart and will surely come back in july to witness the wild beast migration as we missed it this time. We would love to recommend AJ Kenya Safaris and Mr James to all travel planners for Masai Mara ( also insist for Mike as your guide).

3 days of excitement and adventure - AJ Kenya Safaris was an excellent choice. I was planning a family trip for 3 and was clueless about any references and sources as nobody in my immediate family or circle of friends had been to Masai Maara. I started by searching on the net and came across A J Kenya Safari. I contacted via whatsapp at the number provided (Mr James) . From here on , it was an amazingly smooth journey for us. This is the first ever international trip planned by us with minimal hiccups and only the best of experiences. After getting our requirements, James came up with various options for us. He planned a wonderful itenerary which seemed too good to be true . I asked him to make several changes, going back and forth, but James was extremely accommodating. Not only did he change the camp options based on our recommendations, but also suggested that we stay at DIani beach for 3 days post the safari camp to relax ( we are not extremely enthusiastic about wildlife. So, 3 full days in the safari were enough to explore and spot the maximum animals). Unfortunately I had started off late in researching and investigating (Aug is the peak migration season and hence bookings get done well in advance. I had started in April mid and by the time I finalized , all the top tier camps inside the Maara were fully booked). But James came to our rescue and suggested the Mtito safari. It was a new camp, with no reviews anywhere and only James recomemndation to go with. I was extremely skeptical, but James asked us to put our faith in him and go ahead. He told us that he knew the owner of this camp and we could just go ahead with no concerns. So, we finalised the Mtito Safari camp and Diani beach and sealed the package. James assisted us with the visa requirements, Yellow fever vaccination details, things to carry, etc. When we reached Nairobi (12th Aug 2023) , our guide James (yes, this is another James, who was our guide and stayed with us for the next 3 days) met us right on time outside the airport with a Land Cruiser and our journey began. Extremely knowledgeable and pleasant, James was the best guide ever. he made us feel comfortable, responded to al our queries . we reached our camp after 5 hrs (were greeted by 4-5 girraffes around our Mtito camp. It was unbelievable), had a quick lunch , refreshed and then set out for our first game safari (around 3:30 PM in the afternoon). It was lovely to say the least. We were greeted by zebras, hordes of wilderbeasts, antelopes, and started taking photos. We were excited to say the least. in the next 2 hours we spotted 5 lionesses, 1 cheetah ( we waiited 45 mins for it to start moving as it was resting under a tree), 3 lions, also caught a lioness resting with its 3 cubs in a bush. James said that we were extremely lucky to spot these animals in the first 3 hours itself. We left the camp at 6:30 PM and headed back to the safari. we were exhausted to say the least. Had dinner and went off to sleep, as we had an early next day. for the next 2 days we left the camp at 7:30 AM and were back at 5 PM. James took us deep inside the reserve and we had a fantastic time exploring emephants, leopards, hyenas, 2 lions resting after killing its prey (an antelope and a girraffe), elephants, crocodiles, rhinos, giraffaes walking right next to us and so many others. Have to point out that it was James skills that helped us view all these animals. He somehow knew the reserve so very well and would take risks and go to all the right places. He knew that some places were frequented with lions and he was absolutely right. It was great to sight so many lions during our 3 days. Hats off to James our guide. I would heavily recommend him. The 3 days of the safari came to an end and we were extremely happy, having completed our most exciting safari ever. The next 3 days at Diani beach were beautiful and relaxing. A J kenya safari has been fantastic. I would blindly recommend them to anyone wanting to plan a trip to Masai Maara.

Mesmerising & thrilling Masai Mara and Diani, Chale Island trip - We went to Kenya (Masai Mara ane Diani, Chale Island) for 7 nights from Delhi, India in June 2023. Our entire trip was masterfully curated and booked by AJ Kenya Safaris led by the affable and professional James and his colleague Gladys. All the tents where we stayed in Masai Mara (Ilekiani camp) was fabolous right from location to hospitality, the landcruiser car and the chaeffuer Mike for the game drives were amazing, so was the hot air baloon safari or for that matter plane transfers from nairobi to masai mara and masai mara to diani and diani to nairobi. The resort in Chale island was simply breathtaking and James went out of his way to get us the best villa in the resort (right on the deep blue sea). We made some changes to our itinerary to fit in horse safari (game drive whilst riding on a horse) and night safari/game drive. We saw lion and leopard and Hyenas besides Giraffes and Zebras whilst mounted on a horse and it was a surreal (though a tad nerve wrecking) experience. In game drive besides seeing the big guns, we were fortunate to see 2 back to back hunts by the majestic Cheetahs. James very promptly arranged for all that. In sum, everything was planned and executed to perfecrion and the trip went as seamlessly as one can imagine. Thanks a lot, James ans Gladys

Our experience with AJ kenya safaris - We connected with this company 2 months before our trip. All plans were discussed and emails were sent both ways apart from virtual calls. We were met at Nairobi airport and taken by road to Amboseli. Day 1 & 2 were perfect. Day 3 had hiccups. But the company tried their best to sort things out. We were taken to Naivasha but we weren't taken to Crescent Island which was scheduled. Maasai Mara village visit and Hot Air Balloon Safari was excellent but Game rides in Maasai Mara was a farce. On day 6 we did nothing but driving to Nairobi airport. So the last part, Maasai Mara, was more or less a disappointment. Crescent Island trip wasn't done. We aren't 100% happy. We had greater expectations
