Airport, Hotel, or Residence Pickup and Drive to Amboseli National Park

Amboseli National Park - Guests will be picked up from the airport, hotel, or residence and driven to Amboseli National Park. The journey takes approximately 5 hours, arriving at Amboseli Sopa Lodge in time for lunch. Upon arrival, guests will check in and enjoy lunch, followed by relaxation before embarking on an afternoon game drive. This drive offers the opportunity to observe wildlife, including the Big Five, large elephant herds, and the stunning view of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Amboseli National Park

Amboseli National Park - After an early breakfast, guests will set out with a picnic lunch box for a full-day game drive. They will have the chance to spot lions and cheetahs, visit the elephant crossing point as they head to the swamp, and enjoy views of Mount Kilimanjaro in the early hours. The game drive continues with a lunch break at the observation viewpoint, offering a spectacular view of the park. After lunch, the game drive resumes before exiting the park. Guests will return to the lodge to freshen up before dinner and an overnight stay. A visit to the famous Maasai village can be arranged on the way back.

Drive from Amboseli National Park to Lake Naivasha

Lake Naivasha - After breakfast, guests will check out and drive to Lake Naivasha through the Great Rift Valley, with a brief stop at the viewpoint. Arrival at Naivasha Sopa Lodge is around midday, where guests will check in and have lunch. Afterward, they will drive to Hell’s Gate National Park, the only park that allows cycling or walking among wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, and buffaloes. Guests can choose to walk or cycle, and the park is renowned for its birdlife. Later, they will return to the lodge for a relaxing evening before dinner and an overnight stay.

Lake Nakuru - Following breakfast at Naivasha Sopa, guests will check out and head to the boat point for a boat ride around the lake. They will observe various birds, including cormorants and pelicans, and feed the fish eagle with fish from local fishermen. Later, they will drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, a 2-hour journey, for a morning game drive in search of black and white rhinos, tree-climbing lions, and Rothschild giraffes. Guests will then check in at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge, enjoy the beautiful views of the park and lake, and relax after lunch before an afternoon game drive. They will return to the lodge after sunset for dinner and an overnight stay.

Drive from Lake Naivasha to Lake Nakuru

Lake Nakuru National Park - After breakfast at Naivasha Sopa, guests will check out and proceed to the boat point for a lake tour. They will see various bird species, including cormorants and pelicans, and feed the fish eagle. The journey continues to Lake Nakuru National Park, a 2-hour drive, for a morning game drive to spot rhinos, tree-climbing lions, and Rothschild giraffes. Guests will check in at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge, enjoy the scenic views, and relax after lunch before an afternoon game drive. They will return to the lodge after sunset for dinner and an overnight stay.

Drive from Lake Nakuru to the Famous Maasai Mara Game Reserve

Maasai Mara National Reserve - After breakfast, guests will drive to Maasai Mara across the Great Rift Valley, a 5-hour journey through the Liota Plains, arriving at Mara Sopa Lodge around midday. After checking in, lunch will be served. The afternoon game drive will take guests deep into the savannah in search of the Big Five and other wildlife. After sunset, they will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Maasai Mara to Nairobi

Maasai Mara National Reserve - Guests will depart after breakfast with a picnic lunch box for a day of wildlife viewing. They will explore the savannah, observing various animals in their natural habitats, and visit the famous Mara River to see hippos and crocodiles. If visiting between July and October, guests may witness the wildebeest migration and river crossing. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed under a tree, followed by continued game viewing. Guests will return to the lodge in the evening to refresh before dinner and an overnight stay.

Drive from Maasai Mara Back to Nairobi

Nairobi - After breakfast, guests will check out and drive to Nairobi for lunch. Following lunch, they will proceed to the airport, marking the end of the safari.
