Day 1: Pickup from Nairobi - Amboseli National Park:
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, the safari driver guide will meet the group. Following a brief orientation, the journey to Amboseli National Park will commence. Travel through Nairobi and across the expansive Maasai plains, concluding at the scenic slopes of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Arrival at Amboseli Serena Lodge will be in time for lunch. Mt. Kilimanjaro, the second highest mountain in Africa, has snow peaks that feed the springs and shallow pans of Amboseli National Park. Amboseli is renowned for its large elephant herds.
In the afternoon, embark on a game drive to spot elephants, lions, cheetahs, buffaloes, and more. Witness breathtaking sunsets while exploring the majestic Mt. Kilimanjaro.
Day 2: Amboseli:
Start the day with an early morning game drive, enjoying a stunning sunrise with the mountain as a backdrop. Amboseli is also home to the vibrant Maasai tribe, known for their brightly colored attire, distinct from the red garments of the Masai Mara. The park’s acacia woodlands and elephant grasslands are teeming with wildlife, including buffalo, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, zebras, and wildebeests. Covering 382 km², the park is part of the larger 2890 km² Amboseli ecosystem. Enjoy an evening game drive and the beautiful sunsets of Amboseli. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Amboseli Serena Lodge.
Day 3: Amboseli - Nairobi:
Today marks the conclusion of the stay at the slopes of Kilimanjaro. After breakfast, check out and return to Nairobi. Lunch will be at the group’s discretion, followed by a transfer to the airport for the outbound flight.
