Peter was GREAT! Great tours! - We had a great tour! Peter was a fantastic guide. Besides going to both sanctuaries (my husband liked the elephant one the most; I liked the giraffe one the most), he helped us with finding a bank, taking us to a souvenir place and taking us to Carnivore, the restaurant. The van was clean. Peter was very kind, gracious and helpful. I would go with this tour company again. Ask for Peter!

Great way to see the... - Great way to see the Giraffe Centre and Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage. Only thing is that you still need to pay the $45 entry fee to Nairobi National Park so you might as well do a game drive as well. Joe was an excellent guide.

Nice experience - Nice option while visiting Nairobi. Got to see the elephants up close. The caretakers do a great job with them. Good for adults, couples or families.

Unforgettable experience - Picked up at the hotel on time by a friendly guide Titus, he made sure we arrived at the sanctuaries first to get in line before the crowds. The whole day was unforgettable.

Conservation wins - Two worthwhile and proven conservation projects. Great to see and hear how the projects have developed and how many animals have been placed back.in the wild.

Touristy but quite fun.... - Touristy but quite fun. The driver Stephen was very informative and nice. We cut the trip short so didn’t go to the beadery shop (which Stephen offered but wasn’t in the information about the day’s schedule).

Worst viator experience! - The giraffe sanctuary is just a small circular walk-around where you can feed the giraffes. That part was cool. However; 30 minutes and your done. The elephants were fun to watch and learn about. They are doing great things for these amazing creatures. Animal summary is it was fun to interact with the animals. Tour summary is we feel like we were being taken advantage of. We got to the giraffe sanctuary and we were told it was too early. 30 more minutes wait but we would go have a coffee and stop at the gift shop. We assumed on property. Wrong, we drove 10-15 mins to a huge coffee and souvenir shop where the driver knew everyone. We headed back to the sanctuary and now there was a line. Our driver told us to wait while he got tickets. Took forever, then he gave the security some tickets. They wouldn't work so the guard got angry with him and he had to go back to ticket window. 10 mins later we got tix that worked. Scamming??? Then we go to the park for the elephants. Nobody said we should have got our tickets earlier so it would be easier. We had to download an app & register. What a pain. Our guide kept trying to get us just to pay with our card on his app. Not happening!! After the elephants he said ok let's go to some coffee bean place & we said no just take us home. He seemed upset & finally agreed. Was this another scam to take us somewhere to people he knew so we spend more money? It was nowhere on our itinerary of events. Viator needs to do a better job of vetting vendors and giving explanations. The description said bring passports but not why. We found out it was for the app we knew nothing about. That info would have been very helpful. Why didn't they just build the cost of the park into the price. Tony Miller Long time user who is not happy. I hope our park tour tomorrow goes better.
