Fun day! - We went to the giraffe center first and it was so much fun to feed the giraffes and learn about them. Then we went to Elephant orphanage and watch them feed them and it was fantastic!

Conservation wins - Two worthwhile and proven conservation projects. Great to see and hear how the projects have developed and how many animals have been placed back.in the wild.

Going wild in Nairobi - Stephen was my tour guide on this fantastic excursion visiting the Giraffe Centre and Baby Elephant & Rhino Orphange. His knowledge and humour is great, as was his ability to administer an 'African Massage' as he drove (don't be too concerned, it's by no means a hands-on experience). Highly recommend this tour.

Well organized and easy/fun day! - I'm so glad i did this tour! I only had the one day to be a tourist and it was perfect. Seeing the baby elephants (so sweet), feeding the giraffes, visiting the local bead factory, relaxing over lunch and dancing at the Bomo (add-on) were all perfect! Stephen was our driver/guide and was friendly, patient (I'm a tourist, and one of very many he deals with), and shared with us some background on the culture and where best to stand to see the elephants. He even took the occasional photo :) Thank you, Stephen, for sharing your Kenyan hospitality and making the day even more enjoyable!

Touristy but quite fun.... - Touristy but quite fun. The driver Stephen was very informative and nice. We cut the trip short so didn’t go to the beadery shop (which Stephen offered but wasn’t in the information about the day’s schedule).

Price tag for tour is not all, international visitors have to pay $50 more - The elephant orphanage itself is a great cause and i didn't mind paying a very high fee to visit since it is a good cause. What is upsetting is that you can't even go with the tour you buy! You have to buy a separate access fee to the park, which is $45 US dollars. Once again, a good cause, but it feels dishonest to pay over $100 and then be told that you need to pay 50% more. Just charge the full price from the start...

Worst viator experience! - The giraffe sanctuary is just a small circular walk-around where you can feed the giraffes. That part was cool. However; 30 minutes and your done. The elephants were fun to watch and learn about. They are doing great things for these amazing creatures. Animal summary is it was fun to interact with the animals. Tour summary is we feel like we were being taken advantage of. We got to the giraffe sanctuary and we were told it was too early. 30 more minutes wait but we would go have a coffee and stop at the gift shop. We assumed on property. Wrong, we drove 10-15 mins to a huge coffee and souvenir shop where the driver knew everyone. We headed back to the sanctuary and now there was a line. Our driver told us to wait while he got tickets. Took forever, then he gave the security some tickets. They wouldn't work so the guard got angry with him and he had to go back to ticket window. 10 mins later we got tix that worked. Scamming??? Then we go to the park for the elephants. Nobody said we should have got our tickets earlier so it would be easier. We had to download an app & register. What a pain. Our guide kept trying to get us just to pay with our card on his app. Not happening!! After the elephants he said ok let's go to some coffee bean place & we said no just take us home. He seemed upset & finally agreed. Was this another scam to take us somewhere to people he knew so we spend more money? It was nowhere on our itinerary of events. Viator needs to do a better job of vetting vendors and giving explanations. The description said bring passports but not why. We found out it was for the app we knew nothing about. That info would have been very helpful. Why didn't they just build the cost of the park into the price. Tony Miller Long time user who is not happy. I hope our park tour tomorrow goes better.

DO NOT PREPAY OR BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY! - Was flying in from Brussels to Nairobi when our flight got cancelled due to a strike at the Nairobi airport. Upon our notification of the cancellation we immediately contacted the tour operator notifying them that we could not make the tour which was the following morning because Brussels Airline felt it was a safety concern flying into a volatile situation in Nairobi and the situation was out of control. We were told our $263 payment was non refundable but to book when we got a flight to Nairobi. When we finally made it to Nairobi and reached out asking to reschedule the tour they said we would have to pay ANOTHER $263 to reserve a spot. Terrible customer service, DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY!
