Its primary aim is to educate children and youth about their country’s wildlife and environment, while also providing local and international visitors the chance to interact closely with giraffes, the world’s tallest species.
- Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage - A knowledgeable guide will lead visitors to the elephant orphanage either after or before the Nairobi National Park game drive. Visitors can pay at the entrance and then proceed to meet baby elephants and adult elephants at the sanctuary.

It was a great day and loved the elephant orphanage. - Drivers were great. They stopped when we needed them to. Experience was good. I would have loved to of seen a few more animals. Was looking for the lions but didn’t see any. The elephants put on a good show for us. We rode about 2 1/2 hours through the park and stayed about a hour at the elephant preserve. We got to pet the elephants. It was great. Everyone seemed happy to be there. Petting the Elephants. It wasn’t too crowded. It was good.

10/10 would recommend - We had a fantastic experience in Nairobi National Park, followed by the elephant orphanage and the giraffe sanctuary. A group of 5 including 2 kids.
We got picked up from our hotel near the Airport and headed to the park for opening (sunrise). We saw Rhinos, hippos, lions, zebra, antelope, ostriches and many more.
The elephant orphanage and giraffe sanctuary were excellent and definitely recommended. Our guide Elvis and driver Dixon were fascinating and full of knowledge.
The drivers offered to stop somewhere for lunch but we had some food with us.

A great day seeing the wildlife around Nairobi. - Thank you to Yesler our driver/guide and to Peter for a great day. We were picked up at the airport and dropped at our hotel as requested. It was a rather overcast day with some early rain which seemed to make seeing the wildlife much better in the national park. We saw all we hoped to see including a lion hunting. A great day. We can also recommend the Masai Lodge where we stayed one night overlooking the southern part of the national park.

Terrific safari experience - Our guide Pius, was great. We saw crocodiles, giraffes, lions, antelopes, jackals, heart beasts, zebras, ostriches, and more. The elephant sanctuary was very informative. We thoroughly enjoyed the day.

Extraordinary Experience - Review
A tour with Peter is an absolute must. This was our first ever safari in Kenya and our family had an amazing experience. Peter was focused on ensuring we had a spectacular experience and that is what he delivered. We learned so much on our tour, Peter was very knowledgeable. We saw lions, rhinos, buffalo, giraffe and many more of the animals Nairobi national park had to offer. A highlight was having lunch in the reserve cooked specifically by Peter and his wife. Visiting the elephants at sheldrick trust was another highlight. Looking forward to visiting Nairobi again and taking another tour with Peter.

Incredible safari experience. - A huge thank you to our wonderful guide Peter. His friendliness and enthusiasm from the moment he picked us up right through to the end of our day was memorable.
Our safari through Nairobi national park was incredible. We saw so many animals during our morning drive. The elephant orphanage and giraffe centre were also highlights of the day.
Peter organised a home cooked lunch for us all which we enjoyed in the park, a very special touch!
Highly recommend Peter and his tours. He has set the bar high for our trip in Kenya!
