• Giraffe Centre - This sanctuary is dedicated to the Rothschild giraffes and serves as an environmental conservation hub. It was founded to save this endangered giraffe species and functions as a breeding conservancy. The Giraffe Molnar Hotel, surrounded by these majestic creatures, is also located here. Visitors can spend 1 hour and 30 minutes enjoying an enriching experience with knowledgeable guides who share the history of the giraffes. Additionally, there is an option to visit the baby orphan elephants and learn about their rescue efforts. Reservations for the elephant sanctuary are essential and can be arranged in advance.
• KOBE TOUGH Beads & Leather - Kobe Tough Beads is a women’s empowerment initiative that allows local women to express their creativity through beadwork and ceramic plate art. Guests are warmly welcomed with a performance of the local “Jambo Kenya” song and dance.
• Sheldrick Wildlife Trust - This center is dedicated to rescuing orphaned elephants, providing care for baby elephants who cannot survive without their mother’s milk for the first two years of life. Due to poaching and natural causes, these young elephants require special care, which is provided exclusively by this sanctuary. A visit to this center is a must when in Nairobi, with a one-hour session available from 11 am to noon daily, and reservations can be made through us.
