The mountain is encircled by Mount Longonot National Park, which is home to giraffes, zebras, antelopes, buffaloes, and various smaller animals.
• Hell’s Gate National Park - Hell’s Gate National Park is one of the few parks where visitors can closely interact with wildlife while cycling, driving, running, or walking through its smooth terrain. This park is rich in experiences, offering activities such as exploring gorges, interacting with animals, and rock climbing, making it a worthwhile adventure. There are no predators in this park. The cycling route is only 7 km one way, with an easy, hill-free terrain ideal for cycling. Cycling is optional, and driving through the park is also possible. Visitors can also explore souvenir shops on the way to the gorges.
• Lake Naivasha - Visitors can enjoy a boat ride on Lake Naivasha, lasting from thirty minutes to an hour. Along the journey, they can observe a variety of beautiful birds, including Kingfishers, Fish Eagles, and Marabou Storks. The lake’s expansion into previously human-occupied land is also visible. Wildlife such as giraffes, antelopes, and zebras can be seen along the shores. This lake is undoubtedly one of the best habitats for hippopotamuses.

The journey begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel, followed by a 1.5 to 2-hour drive. A stop is made at the awe-inspiring Rift Valley viewpoint before continuing to Hell’s Gate. Along the way, enjoy views of Mt. Longonot and other scenic landscapes. A guided tour of the park provides insights into its history, formation, and the diverse animals and birds that inhabit it.

In the afternoon, after lunch, the tour proceeds to Lake Naivasha, where you can safely observe hippos in the water and a variety of bird species.
