Excellent safari - Communication worked perfectly after booking. All my questions were answered immediately. We were satisfied with the service in terms of value for money. The accommodations and food were fine. Our guide, Anthony, was very kind and professional. He always solved any problems during the tour. He tried to make us enjoy the safari and see as many animals as possible.

The BEST safari! - We had such a great experience on our 7 day safari led by Jason from Baboon Budget Safaris. Jason prepared us well for what to expect each day, and he often checked to see if we needed anything. He was an excellent driver and made sure we were able to see everything each park had to offer, including getting up close to the animals. Best in Class, 5-Star Experience (Book with Jason) - Where do I even begin? This trip was once in a lifetime and it will be hard to compare future trips. A lot of credit goes to our driver, Jason. Best safari ever-driver Jason was amazing! - We had an amazing trip! Dennis the organizer, did an amazing job of communicating with us. However, our driver Jason is who really made the trip special. Jason made us feel safe and catered the trip to fit our needs and wants. We really became a family in the van, with lots of laughs. I would highly recommend this company, and the drive Jason! Excellent - We are a group of 4 people who have done a week of safari with the Baboon agency, we chose the private jeep option and we believe that it could not have been better. The agency has been very attentive to us from the moment of the reservation via email, they have answered all our questions and helped us with the organization. The week of travel has been great, Lawrence (the guide and driver) accompanied us the entire time and explained a lot of things to us about all the animals we were able to see and about life in the country. A 100% recommended experience with a wonderful agency!

8 days and 7 nights Kenya tour - I saw a lot of animals, rhinos, elephants, giraffes, and many beautiful birds. I also enjoyed the beautiful scenery of Mount Kilimanjaro. Looking at the snow-capped mountains and the starry sky at night, this beautiful scene is something I will never forget in my life.

Compared to the price, affordable trip - It was an amazing trip!! I recommended to my friends as well. The tour guy, started with B,, he was really sweet. However, the tour agency didn't say about the itinerary, we wasted of our time almost a day on the road. The itinerary was changed because other tourists' travel finish dates are different! So they also wasted on their time. Such as we visited Nakuru twice and passed nairobi 4times and went to amboseli park. (if you see the map, it's not close locations at all) except that, accommodations were ok,.. (it's kenya) and food was ok..

If it's Kenya, It better be Baboon! - After much research, we chose Baboon for our trip to Kenya and they did not disappoint! They had options starting with low $$ all the way upto luxury ones and we chose the mid-range packages In an unknown land, their drivers+Guides made us feel so comfortable, almost like we were at home! They were there to pick up from the airport, and the transitions from each location to another were super smooth. The guides know Kenya really well and have been doing this for many years, their experience is unmatched! The guides would go out of their way to give us an authentic experience, showing us all the Big5, and other animals. Highly professional team Right from the start, Dennis, their team leader helped us pick the right accommodation options, gave us great pricing, and arranged everything just how we liked it. The two guides we had on our trip were Bonifas and Joseph and they were both the best guides we could have asked for!

Wonderful experience with some surprises - This is a wonderful tour. The itinerary takes you to what you want to see and experience in Kenya at an excellent price. Accommodation and food were good (budget-style, nothing to complain about). I am very happy I had the chance to take this tour and would like to point out some things other travelers might want to be aware of. The confirmed transfer from the airport wasn't there. I had to see how to get into town. A driver took me for free since he seemed to know the owner of the agency. I was made pay 80€ more than the official price agreed on and stated on the homepage and on my confirmation mail due to some "different conversion rate", no discussions. Paying in advance and bringing a receipt might be a better option than paying cash at the office. My 7-day itinerary was shortened to a 6-day itinerary. After many complicated discussions, the driver agreed to add day 3 of the 7-day itinerary after day 6 of the 6-day itinerary because the other people in the van had all booked the 6-day itinerary. Fine by me and probably the best solution for the group, but it invoked a 300-km detour (~5hrs). We were stopped twice in one of the parks by park rangers for breaking the park rules (getting off road and getting too close to wildlife). The driver managed to pay a bribe and we could move on. Make up your mind if you want this. The included mineral water was finished after day 6 and I had to get water for myself and the driver (this does not really incur costs), who also asked for money for gasoline and insisted on an additional tip (which I am happy to give, but it didn't feel voluntary). He was very friendly and flexible during the safari, but hardly offered any explanations about flora and fauna. I would not discourage anyone from booking with Baboon Budget Safaris since it was still a wonderful experience at a great price. One should be aware that there might be surprises and some flexibility is certainly required.
