NAIROBI TO MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE

Masai Mara National Reserve - Our certified tour guide will collect you from your hotel, the airport, or your residence. After a brief orientation, you’ll begin the journey to Masai Mara Game Reserve, passing through the Great Rift Valley viewpoint. Here, you’ll pause to take in the stunning views of the Great Rift Valley floor. Masai Mara, located in southwestern Kenya and adjacent to Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park, is famous for its rich wildlife and is part of the larger Serengeti ecosystem. You’ll arrive at Masai Mara Game Reserve in time for lunch. Post-lunch, you’ll relax before embarking on an afternoon game drive that will last until late. Expect to see the Big Five (Elephant, Lion, Leopard, Rhino, and Buffalo), as well as Zebra, Cheetah, Giraffe, Impala, and a variety of bird species. You’ll return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

FULL DAY IN MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE

Masai Mara National Reserve - At dawn, you’ll set out for a full-day game drive in the Masai Mara Game Reserve. We’ll be on the lookout for the Big Five (Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Rhino, and Buffalo). Large mammals like Buffalo, Eland, and Masai Giraffe are easily spotted. Other animals include Waterbuck, Impala, Warthog, Hyena, Hyrax, Giraffe, Grant’s Gazelle, and over 400 bird species. The Masai Mara Game Reserve is renowned for hosting one of nature’s most spectacular events: The Great Wildebeest Migration (July-October). This annual migration sees millions of wildebeest and zebras move from the Serengeti in search of water and pasture, while predators like Hippos and Crocodiles lie in wait, creating a dramatic scene. To enhance your experience, you can opt for an early morning hot air balloon ride over the plains of the Masai Mara Game Reserve. Additionally, you can choose to visit a Maasai village to learn about Maasai culture and interact with the local community.

MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE TO NAIROBI

Maasai Mara National Reserve - On this day, you have the option of a hot air balloon ride with a picnic breakfast. If you choose not to participate, you’ll have breakfast at your lodge. An optional visit to a Masai village can also be arranged for this morning. You’ll then depart Masai Mara by road, returning to Nairobi in the late afternoon.
