After lunch, there is time to relax before embarking on an afternoon game drive in the Conservancy, which is East Africa’s largest black rhino sanctuary. It is the only place in Kenya where chimpanzees can be seen and boasts some of the highest predator densities in the country.
Day 2: Full Day at Ol Pejeta Conservancy
After breakfast, the day begins with a chance to see a chimpanzee, visit three of the world’s last remaining northern white rhinos, and observe a wild pride of lions roaming the African plains. With the snowy peaks of Mt. Kenya as a backdrop, the safari game drive through the largest black rhino sanctuary promises to be as stunning as it is diverse. There are opportunities for close encounters with elephants, wild dogs, lions, hyenas, buffalo, cheetahs, rhinos, and all the plains herbivores.
