Nairobi to Masai Mara

Masai Mara National Reserve - (Complimentary airport pick-up is available for all guests arriving by flight on the morning of Day 1. The pick-up time is scheduled for 6 am from the airport to the departure point in Nairobi city.) Guests will be picked up from their hotel and begin the journey to Masai Mara. Masai Mara Full Day

Masai Mara National Reserve - Spend the entire day exploring the Masai Mara in search of the Big Five. Enjoy picnic lunches in the Reserve while admiring the stunning views along the banks of the Mara River. Optional: In the evening, visit the local Masai village for a cultural tour at USD 20. A balloon safari is also available at USD 400 per person.

Mara River - The Mara River flows through Narok County (Kenya) and the Mara Region (Tanzania), crossing the migration path of ungulates in the Maasai Mara/Serengeti game reserves. This is the location of the wildebeest migration. The river is home to many resident hippos and crocodiles. The Mara is renowned for hosting one of nature’s most spectacular events: the great migration. This annual migration involves millions of wildebeest and zebra moving from the Serengeti (in Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following them are the savanna’s predators – lions, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas, and vultures.

Masai Mara to Nairobi

Nairobi - After an early morning breakfast, guests will check out and begin the drive back to Nairobi. They will be dropped off at their hotel.
