Nairobi-Maasai Mara
Masai Mara National Reserve - Guests will be picked up at 8 am by our experienced guide/driver to begin the journey to Maasai Mara. Along the way, there will be a stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint to observe the remnants of ancient volcanic activities. The safari continues, arriving at Maasai Mara in time for lunch and check-in at the accommodation. After a brief rest, a game drive will commence at 4:00 pm, returning by 6:00 pm. Dinner and an overnight stay will follow at Miti Mingi Tourist Camp, Rhino Camp, or a similar venue.
Full Day Game Drive to Mara River
Masai Mara National Reserve - Breakfast is served at 6:00 am, followed by departure from the hotel. A full day game drive offers the opportunity to spot a variety of animals, including the Big Five. With some luck, guests may witness the wildebeest migration. Picnic lunches will be enjoyed in the Reserve under the shade of croton trees, while taking in the beauty of the Mara. The Mara River is home to numerous resident hippos and crocodiles.
Maasai Mara to Nairobi
Nairobi - After an early breakfast, guests will check out. A complimentary lunch will be provided at the Travellers Motel on the return journey to Nairobi. There is an option to visit a nearby Maasai village for a cultural tour at USD 20 per person. This visit offers a chance to explore the traditional village of the Maasai tribe, who are eager to share their culture, traditions, and lifestyle, including their harmonious coexistence with wildlife. For the Maasai, cows represent wealth. They have long practiced sustainable land management. Although lion-hunting was once a rite of passage for young Maasai warriors (moran), it is no longer practiced. The Maasai are renowned for their jumping abilities. Upon arrival in Nairobi, guests will be dropped off at the city center or their hotel within the city center.
