Insightful experience - Highly recommend this tour. Was brought around downtown area by our guide, Sunami. He was really informative and shared about his past experiences as a former street kid. Highly recommend people to go on this tour if you would like a diff perspective of life.

Eye-opening tour of Nairobi's Downtown - We really enjoyed this tour and meeting our guide, Typhoon. He did a great job of speaking to the city's history and sharing specific locations which shaped his life and perspective. We enjoyed being able to safely venture into Nairobi's downtown with a guide and appreciate sharing a lunch with Typhoon as well. One thing I wish I did was bring some snacks/drinks with us on the tour to hand out to locals as there were a handful of folks we came across who requested we help them get something to eat.

Excellent and unusual tour. - This was a really interesting experience. Being with Daniel meant we were able to access streets of the city where we would not have thought of going alone and hearing his story of how he lived in the places we visited provided insights we could not have found without him. He was also generally knowledgeable about nairobi and very friendly and personable. We thoroughly recommend doing this tour.

Phenomenal experience. Highly recommend - My husband and I toured with Quick and Moses for 2.5 hours. We had one-on-one time with our guides and saw the area from their eyes and their lived experience. It was incredibly powerful, intimate and moving. I cannot recommend this enough - a must-do for travelers, tourists, expats alike.

Must Do! Eye opening and personally moving experience. - I’ll admit as I was planning a solo day of activities this sounded intriguing but I wasn’t sure about doing it alone. I’m so glad I took the leap after reading others reviews. This is the most special way to see the real streets of Nairobi and hear personal stories of those who have grown up there. It was also an education on the slums where many live (although we didn’t walk there). My two guides - Daniel and Quik - were phenomenal! They made me feel safe during the entire tour and moved me with their very personal stories. They were open hearted and authentic in sharing their journeys! I will never forget the experience.

Brilliant unique tour - Typhoon who was our guide was fantastic. An ex-street kid who knows his way around and was so knowledgeable and shared stories of his past life which was fascinating. We went to parts of the city we would never have known about. It was a crazy busy part of the city but he made us feel incredibly safe at all times and we came across some really friendly genuine Kenyan people. We met some of the kids that need feeding and paid for a few meals. They work around $2 so we paid for 10. You need proper shoes as the roads and pavements are not good! It was a fun and very educational tour and very different from others we’ve done in the past. I’d strongly recommend doing it as a unique experience that you’ll never forget. It’s a shame he supports Arsenal! 🤣

Best ever walking tour - This was one of the best experiences I have had during a walking tour ever. Our guides Typhoon and Sunami were incredible storytellers and I learnt a lot about their life. Along the way other guides joined us and told us their stories. The areas we visited there is no way tourists would venture on their own. An absolutely unforgettable, amazing experience! One suggestion is to perhaps wear a cap to identify yourself and try to be at meeting point on time as there were 6 of us waiting and one of us ended up phoning as we were not sure if someone was going to truth up, this was at least fifteen minutes after your should have commenced.

August visit - This was an excellent tour! It allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by storytellers who grew up as children on the street in Nairobi. My guide was fantastic and showed me around by using very intimate stories of his upbringing, which helped the surrounding scenery come to life.
