Very cool experience - strongly recommend! - The tour was a very good experience! My guide Erick had so much knowledge and was very easy going. It was a good mix of walking around and exploring the city, history and local food. We maximized the time, and got to see a lot - things I probably wouldn't have seen if I was alone. I strongly recommend to go!

Nairobi city tour with a dedicated tour guide! - Erick is our tour guide and has good knowledge about the city. He also ensured everybody was cared for and provided support when needed. The tour was amazing overall but for the Maasai market, the tourists need to watch out and do some negotiation.

Downtown Nairobi - This walking tour is a great way to experience downtown Nairobi. The peace memorial was moving, the archive museum interesting, a ride on a mutatu was terrific followed by a tasty lunch.

Great introduction to central Nairobi - I went on the city tour with Erick. We did a walk through the parliament area. Erick was very knowledgeable about the National Archive Museum and told me many things about the artifacts from the various tribes. We even got on the public bus that plays MTV to experience the local culture!

Things you’d never expect. Well worth it. - Our tour guide Erick made sure everyone was safe and well looked after. He provided information about all the official buildings. We made many stops along the way including the tallest building in Nairobi, the market, the museum and more. Lunch was very interesting as we tried the platter which included camel, goat, beef and chicken. I’d highly recommend this half day tour. Hopefully you’ll get Erick as your guide. Get off to a good start in Nairobi - Erick was our guide for the walking tour of Nairobi. Very lovely, knowledgeable and more than happy to tell stories of his own experiences in the city. This was a great way to spend our first day in Nairobi. Would have been a nice touch if a bottle of water was offered at the start of the tour, but otherwise a great experience

Good but keep your perspective - Eric is an excellent guide. The group of 5 newly arrived tourists left the hotel about 9am. We ventured to the KICC Tower and had a great view of the city. Patches of green below were good size parks on the ground. We also went to the Memorial Park and related museum of the 1998 bombing of the US Embassy. Very interesting. The Maasai Market albeit an illuminating experience is not one for most westerners. It is too crowded and one needs to bargain. No one purchases anything in fear of an onslaught of vendors. I understand that this part may be replaced and it should which is why I give a 4 rating versus a 5. Lunch at the Kilimanjaro Hotel was interesting. Our tour gives an allowance but it does not cover the full price of the most commonly ordered combo dish that we all share. While it only costs the participants a little bit more to cover the costs it is SUPER inconvenient as some folks had not small currency. This should just be covered by the tour. Folks should keep in mind too that Nairobi is not a posh capital. Although it has great weather most times the streets, parks and facilities are limited.

Good welcome to Nairobi. - Great introduction to Nairobi. Would not have gone to a convention center on my own. Our guide was super nice but needs to talk more about history, culture, religion. Tour lasted over 6 hrs. So you get a good taste of the city. Lunch was yummy, but intrepid should cover the entire cost, not just 700 ks.
