Nairobi national park safari with Saidi - We went on a day Safari to Narobi National Park and also visited the Sheldrick Elephant orphanage. Our guide Saidi definitely made this trip one of the most enjoyable we had in Kenya. He was on time for our early pick up , and brought with him a warm smile and positive attitude. Saidi was also very knowledgeable, warm, friendly and engaging. He went above and beyond to make sure that we got to see all the animals we were looking forward to spotting and made the process a fun and upbeat experience for us. Try to book an experience with him if you can. Highly recommend.

Amazing Safari! - We had such an amazing time on this safari. Saidi was our guide for the day and did an incredible job - he was knowledgeable, fun to hang out with, and worked so hard to find us the lions we’d been hoping to see! I’d highly recommend this tour, and would doubly recommend Saidi as a guide.

Amazing Kenyan Safari Family Experience - Where to begin… Outstanding. Exceeded expectations. Incredible. Trip of a lifetime. Exceptional service and attention to detail. The list goes on and on. The bottom line is that spending 12 days exploring all that Kenya has to offer was an unforgettable experience, and was made possible by the sincere and genuine care and attention that Anthony - our guide from Bigfoot Adventures - put into making this truly the trip of a lifetime. From the very beginning, chatting with him on WhatsApp was easy and a breeze as he planned and tailored the trip to our needs. Each minute of the trip was planned for us, which meant we could relax and enjoy the moments, leaving us with a stress free trip with nothing to worry about. And to be clear, this is no small undertaking when traveling with a 5-year old and 1-year old, but Anthony did it masterfully. He arranged a car seat for our youngest, was mindful of both kids attention spans and need for engagement, he made things fun and exciting for them, and was always quick to entertain them or play with them if they’d had enough of mom and dad! We started with a lovely two days at Karen Blixen Cottages - which was an experience all in itself that you should treat yourself to if you have the chance! We enjoyed a fun and memorable glass blowing experience where we made our own items to take home, then fed giraffes at the Giraffe Sanctuary, played with baby elephants at Sheldrick Trust, and went on a game drive at Nairobi National Park where we saw lions, giraffes, buffalo, crocodiles and so many other animals! Next up was Amboseli National Park. When we arrived and headed to lunch, we were greeted by elephants grazing beside the lodge with the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro in the background. Morning and afternoon game drives let us experience so many wonderful animals close up and personal - elephants, giraffes, buffalo, lions and countless others! Both the lodge - which was incredible - and the animals left us in awe of the splendor of Amboseli. We then traveled to Lake Naivasha where we stayed at the SOPA Lodge, and were literally surrounded by giraffes, water buck and zebras - such a cool experience. The lodge was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the views of the animals and lake - and the food was top notch! We did a fun boat safari to see birds and hippos, while we made our way to an island where they filmed “Out of Africa”. On the island, we were able to walk amongst the animals which was really cool for the kids, and we were able to see two baby giraffes hiding in the grass from just a few feet away. We left Naivasha and headed to Ol Pejeta Conservancy to experience three more days of incredible game drives, filled with tons of rhino, in addition to all the other animals you expect to see. We saw lions mating, lions fighting and enjoying a kill (buffalo) - and then saw the herd of buffalo retaliating against the lions and go after them, which was quite exciting! We saw young male elephants play fighting to display dominance, a rare striped hyena, and even fed a blind black rhino. We then saw the last two remaining Northern White rhinos in existence, and learned about the huge undertaking of trying to use IVF and Southern White rhinos as surrogates, in an attempt to save the species - such a great learning experience for our family on the wonderful efforts the Conservancy is undertaking. If you’ve made it this far in reading this review, thank you. I’ve tried to capture a glimpse of the absolute incredible experience that Anthony created for my family, but honestly, words can’t do it justice. You need to experience this for yourself, because the memories are priceless and are unable to be captured in words. Thank you to Bigfoot Adventures for allowing us the opportunity to enjoy such a memorable experience, and thank you to Anthony for making it perfect!! We can’t wait to come back again!!

Ask for Saidi — he’ll give you a great day in Nairobi! - I had only one day for any sightseeing, during a business trip that was also my first ever to Kenya. Saidi was a fantastic guide through the National Park, where he pointed out every animal, and made sure we saw as many as possible, including a group of about 10 lions! With every “trick up his sleeve” we’d round a corner and see a new group of animals. We continued on to the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, the Matbronze gallery, and the Giraffe Centre. He ended my day with a delightful community souvenir shop, and even worked in an extra stop so I could find a charging cord to save my dying phone! I couldn’t have asked for a better day to experience the highlights of Nairobi. Thank you, Saidi!
