KOBE TOUGH Beads & Leather - The next stop is the Kobe Bead Factory, a pottery company renowned for creating some of the world’s most beautiful beads. You’ll be guided through all the stages of production, from start to finish. This unique factory employs single mothers from impoverished neighborhoods, providing them with a livelihood to support their families. The factory’s beautiful gifts and souvenirs, made by these single mothers, are exported worldwide. There is also a gift shop that stocks some of their products. Please note that the workshop is closed on Saturday afternoons and all day Sunday, but the gift shop is open seven days a week.

Giraffe Centre - After lunch (at your own expense), you’ll head to the Giraffe Centre to learn about the conservation efforts for the endangered Rothschild Giraffe. The center’s primary mission is to protect and assist in the breeding of this endangered species. Under professional supervision, you can feed the giraffes from a raised observation platform, bringing you eye-to-eye with these magnificent creatures. The center also features a large auditorium where visitors can attend talks on giraffe conservation and the various activities the center is involved in. After this enriching experience, you’ll be dropped off at your hotel or the airport, taking home unforgettable memories.
