In addition to the exhibits, don’t miss the life-size fiberglass model of the famous pachyderm Ahmed, the enormous elephant that became a symbol of Kenya during the 1980s poaching crisis. President Jomo Kenyatta placed him under 24-hour protection; you can find him in the inner courtyard next to the shop.
