Additional Information

If you’re stuck at the airport with a layover of approximately 4 hours, this tour could be a great way to spend the time. Nairobi National Park, the oldest of all national parks in Kenya, is notable for its Black Rhino Sanctuary. Although it’s adjacent to the city, it houses leopards, hyenas, lions, and many other Kenyan animals.

Established back in 1946, Nairobi National Park offers visitors the unique experience of a genuine African safari within stone’s throw of a bustling city center. Despite its small size, in comparison to Kenya’s other national parks, it presents a glimpse of Kenya in its untouched form, reflecting how it looked when Nairobi was still in its formative stages over a century ago.
• Discover Nairobi National Park, a stunning wildlife haven situated just 6 miles (7 km) from Kenya’s capital
• Get a first-hand experience with rhinos, lions, leopards, wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, and many others
• Keep an eye out for the park’s numerous bird species, including at least 20 seasonal European migrant species

Amazing half-day tour - We’ve been on a two-week Kenyan safari so we had low expectations for a half-day tour near the airport. But we loved our tour. Our guide Alex went out of his way to give us a great experience, catering to our interests and waiting patiently for photos. We saw a wide variety of wildlife (including a cheetah at close range) and birds. The vehicle was in great shape too. I highly recommend this!

Great afternoon at Nairobi National Park - Alex is a great guide and driver. He was also very patient while I shot photos of a cheetah, rhinoceros, giraffes, eagles, impalas, and other wildlife. We had a great afternoon and highly recommend this tour.

Alex going the extra mile to show us as much as possible in a short time - Alex communicated great in advance. Was well on time and we had a great mini safari of half a day during our one day layover. He really dis his best to find the animals we wanted to see, so we even did see a lion! Thanks Alex, it was a great experience we’ll never forget

Nairobi game drive, great experience! - In April 2024 We had a 12+ hour stopover in Nairobi. We were looking for some fun activities and came with a Game Drive in Nairobi National Park. We got picked up by Alex (the guide) and drove with his safari van towards the park. The setting was nice and we had nice talks with Alex. His drive skills were certainly there and we saw a lot of different types of animals and took beautiful pictures! (Listed down below) Another big thanks to Alex for this beautiful day!

Good use of time, quick safari near city - Great use of half day time to visit the park. Able to see lots of animals in a short of time. Good communication every step of the way from airport pickup to hotel dropoff. The guide is also knowledgeable and proficient in finding all the animals.

Very nice early morning tour - Very nice morning tour at Nairobi National Park. Pick up was on time and our driver/guide Wellington did a great job for us to get the opportunity to see a lot of animals of different species at the Park. The only downside was that binoculars were included at the tour’s description, but once there we were informed that there was not one for us to use. Important also to mention that getting the tickets for the Park was not easy, as the official website didn't work properly.
