on the fly - The tourguide was very flexable and adapted to things on the move. if i wanted to go to a specific place, he would take me. When he would describe where we were going and if I informed him that I had been to that place on a different tour the previous day, he would come up with a different place to go to that added to the experience of my trip.

A great cultural experience - I had a couple days in Nairobi before traveling to Zanzibar and booked this tour. It was superb. My guide Tim was very knowledgeable I learned so much about Kenya and the city of Nairobi… Tim took me to all the cool places I did my souvenir shopping while learning about the culture of the city.. if you are ever in Nairobi book with Tim if you want a true cultural experience.

See the artist at work - Tim, my guide, was flexible and worked with me when my plane was late getting in. The history walk was quite interesting and I learned a lot about Kenya I didn't know. I enjoyed seeing different parts of the city. I picked two of the workshops/souvenirs shops I wanted to see. At both I got to see the artisians at work. Both had great shops as well. This was a grest way to spend my morning.

Excellent tour - highly recommend - Mwose my tour guide was excellent. It was a completely personalised experience so I felt very special. The start of the tour includes an overview of the history of Nairobi all while taking in the magnificent view from the top of the Kenyatta convention centre helipad. The beads factory was fantastic. So wonderful to see something which is helping to benefit an entire community of women. Mwose was so flexible throughout the afternoon continually checking on my preferences and adjusting the itinerary accordingly. I know most people coming to Nairobi will go for a safari tour but I would highly recommend also doing this tour if you have more time to spare and want to see another side to Nairobi .

Layover Trip in Nairobi - I had a 9 hour layover in Nairobi so I decided to have an adventure. I was met at the airport by Tim who was my personal guide for the tour. He is very knowledgeable on Kenyan history and the social studies teacher in me truly appreciated the in depth information he provided. I would have like to see more historical sites but my time constraint didn't leave much room for that. Shopping was interesting. Although I saw some people with their guides while shopping, Tim hung back. Not sure if that was good or bad but prepare to haggle with them to get the best price. The Kobe Tough location was cool. There is no haggling (or at least I didn't try it). The restaurant he took me too was good. I should have trusted him and took my time. I rushed through my dinner to make sure I didn't miss my flight and never got a chance to look at the shops that were located on the grounds. I would definitely do this again.

Great Tour! - Micheal was very knowledgeable about Nairobi. He was very patient as we shopped and picked some nice places for us to go. Kobe Tough was amazing and the jewelry is great quality. The city view was awesome as well. I would tour again.

Great way to spend an afternoon in Nairobi - Lovely experience. My guide Mwose communicated well, was there to pick me up from the airport promptly, and was very in tune to my comfort level. We saw a good deal of Nairobi, then went to some wonderful stores. I especially enjoyed the bead factory even went back the next day again.

A classy shopping tour - Our guide Obek picked us up early after we arrived earlier than we expected. His communication was excellent. The tour itself was exactly as described in the itinerary, we got to watch the women make the beads at the women's empowerment company, which was a real treat. Then visit the shop afterwards. Note on this the shop was all in dollars which we didn't expect and only had shillings. So we handed over shillings and got dollars I'm change. No major drama but just a heads up. Next was the woodwork shop where we saw the guys carving the wooden objects that again we could buy in the shop but the real treat was the antiques place just room after room of beautiful items for sale. After the shops we went to the conference centre, pay 1000KES by card as venue is cashless, to get the elevator to the top and once up the view of the city is amazing. Obek talked to us on our drive about the history of Kenya and Nairobi and it was fascinating to hear all about the different tribes. He was friendly and answered all of our questions. Would recommend this tour if you're into your shopping and don't want the hassle of walking round the streets of Nairobi.
