The Ngare Ndare forest is home to numerous gorgeous and serene natural sites like sunset viewing spots, ever-flowing springs, waterfalls, rapids, and rocky formations. These locations are utilized by the Ngare Ndare Forest Trust for recreational activities such as picnicking, swimming, diving, and rock climbing. Experience the longest canopy walk in East Africa, a 40-foot-high suspension bridge made of wire mesh and cables stretching across 500 meters right through the heart of the forest, providing a unique perspective to view the wildlife beneath. This aerial journey concludes at a 30-foot-high timber platform, providing a space to rest and soak in the panoramic view of the river below. Additionally, you can take a dip in the sparkling blue natural pools found at the base of the waterfalls and explore the 200-year-old trees, which are home to a diverse spectrum of birds and wildlife.
