The Great Maasai Mara - We booked my three-day Maasai Mara safari in October and traveled in early December. Thanks to Maria’s expert advice, I avoided the rainy season’s challenges. Although we missed spotting a rhino, seeing four of the Big Five was breathtaking! The 4x4 Jeep handled the muddy terrain exceptionally well, ensuring a smooth journey through the reserve. The accommodations were superb clean, comfortable, and cozy and the food was a delightful mix of local and international dishes. This safari was a perfect blend of adventure, comfort, and wildlife wonders, making it a memorable experience I’d recommend to anyone.

Unforgettable Safari - My family and I had an incredible 3-day safari experience with Savanna Sojourns Safaris! By the second day, we were thrilled to spot all of the Big Five, a dream come true. Our guide, James, was knowledgeable, patient, and ensured we had the best views and photo opportunities. Mariam in the office was excellent—she responded promptly to all our queries and made the booking process seamless. Kenya’s wildlife is truly awe-inspiring, and this safari showcased its beauty in every way. The accommodation was comfortable, and the itinerary was well-organized. Lovely trip - Our 3-day safari with Savanna Sojourns was nothing short of amazing! Right from the start, communication was smooth and easy. George was incredibly helpful, advising us on the best dates to travel, which made our experience even better. We chose to go on safari as part of a larger adventure, with plans to climb Mount Kenya afterward. Our guide, James, was fantastic and ensured that every game drive was memorable. We saw an abundance of wildlife, but the highlight was spotting a leopard twice in one day – a rare treat, as many other tourists didn’t get to see one at all! The 4x4 Jeep provided great comfort, making the drives enjoyable, and the lodge accommodation was perfect, adding a touch of luxury to our stay in the wild. I highly recommend Savanna Sojourns to anyone looking for an exceptional safari experience.

Best company for Safari to Maasai Mara - Our 3-day safari with Savanna Sojourns was an incredible experience. A big part of our adventure was thanks to our driver, James, who skillfully guided us through the park and showed us the Big Five—an absolute highlight! The spacious Land Cruiser Jeep was just for our family, making the experience feel private and intimate. Big 5 Before Noon! James is an Incredible Guide! - Have you ever been so thrilled that you could hardly contain your excitement? That’s exactly how we felt during our 4-day Maasai Mara safari with Savanna Sojourns! Referred by a colleague who had traveled to Kenya for their honeymoon, we knew we had made the right choice. The company was highly professional, with the transport manager keeping us updated leading up to our trip. On arrival in Nairobi, we stayed at a hotel in Westlands, and the next morning, James, our energetic and jovial guide, picked us up for the journey to the Maasai Mara. We arrived in time for lunch and then went on a short evening game drive. Though the first day was brief, we couldn’t wait for the next day’s adventure. Day two was the highlight! By noon, we had seen all of the Big 5, including lions feasting on a buffalo (a sight my family couldn’t quite handle!). Spotting the elusive rhino was a special treat. James was truly incredible—his guiding skills and passion for wildlife made the safari unforgettable. If you’re thinking about a safari, I highly recommend Savanna Sojourns and James. It was an experience of a lifetime!

Seamless Transition from Tanzania to Kenya: A Memorable 3-Day Mara North Safari - After completing our safari in Tanzania, we were eagerly looking forward to our Kenyan adventure with Savanna Sojourns. As planned, we were picked up promptly at the Tanzania-Kenya border by our guide, Rashid, who greeted us with a cheerful smile. Despite the long drive to the Maasai Mara, Rashid made the journey enjoyable, offering insightful glimpses of Kenya as we passed through several cities. The Maasai Mara was spectacular, with its vast landscapes and incredible diversity of wildlife. Our hotel staff welcomed us warmly, and the accommodations were excellent. We appreciated the daily check-ins by the company, which added a personal touch to the experience. While the Maasai village was similar to the one in Tanzania, we’d recommend attending just one for variety’s sake. George saw us off in Nairobi after a smooth drop-off, and we were touched by the attentive service throughout. As a family, we are grateful for the exceptional experience and look forward to recommending Savanna Sojourns to others.
