Aberdare National Park - Begin the journey with a pick-up from a Nairobi hotel or Nairobi Airport. Travel to Aberdare National Park, with lunch at the Aberdare Country Club, situated on a mountain slope in the picturesque Great Rift Valley. After lunch, continue to The Ark Lodge for an overnight stay. Spend the afternoon and evening observing wildlife from the balconies of the Tree Lodge. Aberdare National Park hosts elephants, black rhinos, leopards, spotted hyenas, olive baboons, black and white colobus monkeys, buffalos, warthogs, and bushbucks, among others. Rare sightings may include the Giant Forest hog, bongo, golden cat, serval cat, African wild cat, African civet cat, and the blue duiker.
