Take this tour; it will change you - We very much enjoyed our tour with Lucas and Michael. We could ask them anything! Kibera residents consider it their community, not a slum. Despite abject poverty, the people work together to improve conditions. We found the people to be friendly and outgoing. The children are adorable and readily come to say hi and get a high five. Overall, an eye-opening experience and one we encourage others to try.

Excellent opportunity to have a real cultural exchange experience. - One of the main things I wanted for my trip to Nairobi was to meet people from all different backgrounds and communities. That is why I decided to take this tour to Kibera. Luca was my guide, he is from Kibera and had a lot to share about his community. I got to meet projects lead by people from the community who are building self-sustainable ways to improve the living conditions of their community. I really recommend this tour for everyone to take, it is a great opportunity for you to meet a community with beautiful and smart people that regardless of life's difficulties, they can convey a lot of hope and strength.

our tour in Kibera - Lucas came to pick us up at our residence and took us to Kibera by matatu, explaining us the system of the transport and telling us about the matatu culture. We had a good stroll around Kibera and he has been really thoughtful and kind all the time; he asked us what our main interests were and took us around accordingly. very nice experience, thank you Lucas! most expressive experience in Kenya - It was my most impressive experience in Kenya. This tour shows not only the outline of Kibera but also how people live in reality. The environment may be shocking to people from developed countries. However, smiles of children are heart-warming. I was really surprised at the fact that people in Kibera were friendly. From the point of view of security, I felt it was safer in Kibera with the reliable coordinator of the tour rather than in the central of Nairobi. Above all, Lucas, the coordinator of the tour is reliable and gentle person. I strongly recommend this tour.

Walking tour with Lucas - Lucas gave a real and experienced view of Kibera from the perspective of someone who loves Kibera and grew up there. Support this tour and support Kibera-born Kenyans. Lucas covered history and language as well as how people live and love in Kibera today.

Great people, nice atmosphere - I and my friend had a really good time with Benjamin, Polycap and Grace from Tembea Kibera, cruising Kibera for an afternoon. Atmosphere's very welcoming in this amazing and dense maze. No better way to end our visit than with a cold beer. See you soon!
