• Hell’s Gate National Park - Depart your Nairobi Hotel at 7am and drive to Hell’s Gate National Park, making stops at viewpoints to admire the scenic Great Rift Valley escarpment. Hell’s Gate is one of Kenya’s smaller national parks, which can be explored on foot or by bicycle. Arrive at Hell’s Gate around mid-morning and begin a 2-hour biking tour; driving is also an option. Wildlife you might see includes Bushbucks, Dikdiks, Giraffes, Gazelles, Gnus, Hartebeests, Impalas, Klipspringers, Buffaloes, Hyraxes, Zebras, Hyenas, Jackals, Mongooses, Baboons, Monkeys, and Porcupines, among others. The park has historically been a significant habitat for the rare lammergeyer vultures.
