Safe and seamless - Fantastic! Calvin, my driver, was the best driver you could ask for - safe and capable on the challenging Kenyan roads. Also just a kind soul, enjoyable to spend time with. Highly recommend

Great Day Trip - We had an amazing trip to Hells Gate and Lake Naivasha. Our driver Calvin was very kind and took care of us during our transportation to and from Nairobi. We first stopped at a lookout for Mount Logonot and got some great photos. Hells Gate was beautiful we saw a variety of wildlife and enjoyed the bike ride and hike. Sammy was an amazing guide and very knowledgeable. The boat ride at Lake Naivasha was beautiful and relaxing. Calvin took us to a nice place for lunch as well before heading home. We would highly recommend this day trip to see two beautiful sites especially if you’re limited on time.

Adventurous alternative to a typical safari - This is definitely something different to do rather than a traditional safari. You see so many animals plus a little adventure. Calvin was great. He was punctual and courteous. His car is very comfortable for the 2 hour drive from Nairobi to Hell’s Gate. Once at Hell’s Gate, we met our park guide who took us on a 8Km bike ride through the park to the gorge. The bike ride was fairly easy and very cool to see animals while not in a jeep. The hike through the gorge was another different aspect of the day. When it was time to bike the 8Km back, we thought it too hot and Calvin was gracious enough to come pick us up in the park. From the park we took a boat tour of Lake Naviasha. This was my favorite part of the day. The boat ride was relaxing and we spotted various birds and animals on crescent island. There were hippos out of the water grazing and sunning as well as zebras, gazelle, buffalo and many others. Don’t forget that you do end up tipping the bike guide, the boat guide as well as Calvin so be sure to plan that. They all deserved a good tip. The biggest tip is to get your ticket for Hell’s Gate with the bike the day before to cut time upon arrival on the Kenya ecitizen website. This can be a bit of a confusing process so it’s best to take the time before you are there. Also, make sure your pop-ups are not blocked in your settings otherwise you will not be able to process the payment.

The trip to Hell's Gates... - The trip to Hell's Gates National Park trip was truly breathtaking. The bike ride truly nothing like I have ever experienced before and I was able to ride next to so many amazing animals! I high recommend this tour. The boat ride on Lake Naivasha was also so beautiful and it was amazing seeing both land and water animals cohabit the same environment!

Do it! - I'm still reeling from an epic day exploring Hell's Gate with the fantastic Sam, our knowledgeable Maasai guide, and Calvin, our skilled driver. My journey began with a scenic drive along the Great Rift Valley, offering breathtaking views of the valley floor below. We embarked on an exhilarating bike ride through the park, taking in the unique landscapes - from towering cliffs to vast savannas. We rode past grazing antelopes, zebras, and gazelles, feeling like we were part of the wild. But the adventure didn't stop there! We ditched our bikes and set off on foot, hiking through the park's rugged terrain. Sam expertly guided us through the scenic trails, sharing insights into the park's geology, flora, and fauna. We skipped the river segment, but the combination of biking and hiking provided an unbeatable experience. The sense of accomplishment and connection with nature was incredible. Sam's expertise, Calvin's support, and the park's stunning scenery made this experience truly unforgettable. If you're looking for an action-packed adventure in one of Africa's most unique national parks, Hell's Gate is a must-visit! Highly recommended for outdoor enthusiasts and adventure-seekers!

Beautiful scenery and experience at Hell's Gate - We had a great time cycling in Hell's Gate. We saw plenty of animals, and the gorge walk had recently reopened, which meant that it got included in our tour. The gorge wall was well worth itI, although it was tricky in parts and so people need sensible shoes and some level of fitness. I would thoroughly recommend this as a day trip from Nairobi. Calvin was a great driver - he pointed out animals during our drive and stopped to let us take pictures of giraffes. He was also good at giving us interesting information throughout the journey.

For Active Travelers Only! Safari by Bike & Lake - The landscape, rock formations, and proximity to the animals (giraffe, zebra, baboon, buffalo) made Hell's Gate park very special. The beautiful bike ride was also a workout! Prepare to sweat. FYI you will visit souvenir shops that are MUCH CHEAPER than in Nairobi or Masa Mara. Lake Naivasha (1 hr boat ride for $25 USD each) is a unique safari experience by water. I saw hippos in water and on land. I saw many different bird species including eagles in hunting action. I really enjoyed. Be prepared to tip because you have a driver, a guide in Hell's Gate, and a guide in Lake Naivasha.

Worst experience ever - Let's start from basics: Price - there is only one option 89£ so 52£ sorry not this address Transport - car with engine problem, without any airflow (not mentioned AC) so great thinking in full sun in the traffic. Constant overthinking which ends up in 80% of cases breaking and going back to the same place in line due to oncoming traffic is not the best start/end of that trip to say the least. Experience itself: View point - stop on the side of the road where shop owners "guides and friends of the driver" will tell you a few things about the valley and do whatever they can to sell you 10 times overpriced souvenirs after "friends discount". Roses - what roses??? Hells gate - the whole trip took 2 h entrance to the exit. Rushed all the time, half of the canyon done via concert steps to make it easier. Lake - that part is 1 h. And it is the only one which is roughly what is advertised, but forget about the nice 2 h long lake experience it won't happen, you have 45min up to an 1h top. Overall. From 11 h, you will spend most of that time traveling to and from the park. Definitely NOT recommending that experience and that agent. You can have the whole day in Nairobi National Park with Kenya Bush Expeditions Tour and Travel for that price. They will take care of you. You will have plenty of time for views, all animals including hippos and lions. And you will enjoy every minute
