Seeing Mt Fuji - A life's dream - Seeing Mt Fuji was a life time dream. Shogo (aka Shawn) made that possible. Was concerned that Mt Fuji would hide itself from us in late July, but thanks to Shogo, we had incredible 360 views of Mt Fuji. Shogo took us to off the beaten tracks places that other non-Japanese guides don't take you (why would anyone come to Japan and not hire a non-Japanese guide?). And the barbecue .. It's not your run of the mill BBQ .. Shogo uses his Mama's secret recipe for the marinade.

My favorite tour! - It was fabulous! The views were beautiful, the BBQ Japanese style was delicious, Shawn was very friendly and patient throughout. 100% recommend it!

Best Tour and Tour Guide in Japan! - We couldn't recommend Shawn and his Mt. Fuji tour more! He showed us around the best views and parts of the five-lake area. Shawn was extremely accommodating and knew all of the best places to go! He also timed out our very cloudy day so we could still have amazing views of Mt. Fuji. The food was so tasty, and we enjoyed getting to know Shawn and learning more about the area! Truly, this was the best tour we did in Japan!

Great birthday experience!!! - Shawn was an AMAZING tour guide, he was very knowledgeable about the history and terrain. His English was good, so that was a plus for conversations. It was pouring down raining so we didn't do the BBQ, but he recommended a delicious steakhouse that was reasonably price. Highly recommend!

CUSTOMIZED Tour with Shawn - Our tour guide was Shawn. We loved the views, lunch, the soft cream at the cow resort, forest hike, and waterfalls. He spoke great English and really knew the area well. His vehicle was comfortable and clean. Shawn went out of his way to prepare vegetarian food options for our daughter. He marinated meats and got us fresh veggies as well. The BBQ was a highlight not to mention all the photos he took of us at the best spots. This is the tour to book. Ask for Shawn!

An Intimate & Unique Day In Our Life… - Our Guide Shawn was Friendly & Informative. He accommodated our senior walking restrictions, customizing the experience for we seniors. On top of that, the food Shawn prepared was excellent! This tour is Highly Recommended!

The Best Way to See Mt Fuji! - Shawn was an amazing guide for our day from Tokyo to see the incredible Mt Fuji! Not only did he keep us well entertained with lots of information on our 2 hour car ride, he took us to the best viewing spots off the beaten path and away from the crowds. The highlight of our time with him was the great bbq in the woods alongside Lake Motosu with a beautiful view of the north side of Mt. Fuji. We got to grill most of it ourselves and it was delicious! Another added bonus was a festival of pink flowers and fresh ice cream from a local dairy. This is the only way to do Mt. Fuji and no one knows it better than Shawn!
