Best tour ever! - Shawn was a wonderful guide! He took us to all the most scenic views, local coffee shops and gift shops. He helped translate and told us so the history and even answered questions not about the tour. He brought us to a great local family owned restaurant with delicious, authentic cuisine. He went out of his way to take us to the best ice cream shop in Japan as an added bonus. We loved seeing mount Fuji, learning about Lake he legend of "Mossie", the monster of Motosu, and exploring the suicide forest. Best tour we have ever had! I hope to take another tour with Shawn next time we're in Japan!

Mt. Fuji with Shawn - This tour is such a unique and fun experience. Shawn is such a knowledgeable and fun guide to spend a day with. If you are looking to see Mt. Fuji up close and personal, this tour is for you. You get a chance to learn about the mountain and see it from numerous vantage points. Awesome day - 10/10 recommend.

Best Fuji Experience - It was an absolute blast hanging out with Shawn and Mt. Fuji for the day. We were able to see Mt. Fuji from so many different angles, and each was breathtaking. Shawn was the perfect host answering all my questions and stopping for amazing tea along the way.

10/10 would recommend this private tour for Mt Fuji views and more - This is one of the best tours I have ever taken! Book this tour if you want to see beautiful views of Mt Fuji as well as some other scenic gems along the way. Shawn picked us up outside the station as clearly instructed. We then set off for our car ride. We stopped at multiple beautiful stops to take in Mt. Fuji and Shawn helped to take fantastic photos. It was too cold for BBQ, but the local restaurant was amazing. After lunch, we continued on for multiple Mt Fuji sights, beautiful waterfalls and a short hike at the mysterious Aokigahara Forrest. Shawn is very knowledgeable about the area and we thoroughly enjoyed his company. 10/10 would recommend.

Mt Fuji private tour - Shawn was a tremendous guide. He took us to the best places , helped us take a ton of gorgeous photos and is great company. He went the extra mile and threw in a very nice surprise at the end which I don’t want to mention here as it would be a spoiler. But I can highly recommend this tour. You won’t regret it.

Best your you can get. - We had such an amazing day. He took is to all the best spots to see My Fuji from different angles and to enjoy some fun locations along the way.

Dreamy Fuji area trip - We really had a lot of luck as the weather was perfect and the views of the Fuji-san were spectacular.
Shawn was very pleasant, showed us the best spots for seeing the foliage, cooked us a very tasty lunch while watching the mountain in all it’s glory and for the finale- brought us to wonderful waterfalls with yet another wonderful view of the mountain. Shawn was very fluent in English and was flexible and attentive.

Absolutely incredible!!! Must do - Wow, such an amazing trip and so worth it!! If we had been on an ordinary bus tour, we would NOT have seen Mount Fuji. As simple as that. 110% recommended.
Directions to the starting point were easy to follow, Shawn was very friendly and chill, so easy to get along with 🤙
Stopped by a market for fresh fruit, and headed to the first lake for a walk around with the beautiful autumn colours. Next stop was lunch by the water, and wow!! Shawn is an incredible chef and has the menu perfected 🤌 every element was delicious.
Stubborn cloud was still hiding Mount Fuji so the waterfalls were next and spectacular in themselves.
Still cloudy, but Shawn never gave up, so we kept driving around to different viewing points, and as he predicted, around 5pm the clouds parted and we were treated with glorious views of Fuji at last. An unforgettable moment and worth the wait.
Massive thanks to Shawn again, this tour was the highlight of the trip for sure!!!

A wonderful trip! - It is known that Fuji-san frequently hides in the clouds. We started our trip in Tokyo under a moderately heavy rain. We were afraid that we would not get to see Mt. Fuji, but Shawn used his experience to change the itinerary on the fly to ensure we had the best chance to see the mountain. The trip was an absolute success. We got to see Fuji-san in all of her unrivalled beauty. As an icing on the cake, Shawn cooked a delicious lunch for us by Lake Motosuko with a gorgeous, unobstructed view of the mountain, and we were able to avoid the busy touristy crowds. Thank you Shawn for a wonderful day!!

Chasing Mt Fuji - Our tour guide Shawn made the whole experience a once in a lifetime treasure. The Japanese heritage was on full display the entire journey as we made our way to Mt Fuji, enjoyed an unbelievable lakeside Japanese-style BBQ lunch at the base of the mountain experiencing farmer's markets and hidden ancient waterfalls. Engaging and delightfully energetic throughout the all-day tour, Shawn navigated the winding roads to enhance the mountain views with timeless historic facts and unique local perspective.
