Personal experience - Shawn was very kind and showed us around the Mt Fuji area completely! His expertise is great! He was very pleasant to be around the whole day and we felt like we had known him for a long time. Well worth the personal experience!

A bargain for such a great experience - Shawn was a great guide. His English is really good and he was able to adapt to what we wanted to see. He was awesome. Very knowledgeable about the local area and extremely friendly. He even gave us recommendations to a ramen shop afterwards. The money is really worth it. We were able to see Sakura, caves, lakes, everything we wanted.

Amazing must do tour - Shawn hosted our group of 7 including 3 kids for a full day Mt Fuji tour. Shawn was an incredible host - knowledgeable, friendly and wonderful with our kids. The tour itself was a true highlight of our time in Japan, seeing so many beautiful locations around Mt Fuji, all with the perfect positions for capturing memorable images. Shawn was very accommodating from the get go. Highly recommend to everyone!!

Snowy Mt Fuji trip - Shaun was a wonderful host - my partner and I had the best day with fabulous views of Mt Fuji - I cannot recommend highly enough. We were very fortunate to have seen with snow on the ground from several angles - restaurant was well positioned and very welcoming. Shaun judged the pace required very well. Mt. Fuji Tour - My father is visiting Japan and I wanted to get him as close to Mt. Fuji as I could during its off season. This tour was it! Great views, great food and great company. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to tour Mt. Fuji without climbing it.

The most patient and accommodating tour guide! Stunning views! - A MUST do when you are in Japan! Skip the big bus tours and book this private tour! Sooo worth it! As someone who has gone on two different Fuji big bus tours, this private tour with Shawn beats them out big time. Shawn was easy to communicate with, patient, and accommodating. He also helped us book dinner reservations and helped work out our transit issues. These things were completely separate from the tour but he was always willing to help. Genuinely good person and great guide who worked with our schedule and made sure we saw the sites we wanted to see. He made absolutely sure that I got my soft cream ice cream and drove to 3 different stores just for me!! For lunch, Shawn took us to eat Hotou which was a local hotpot cuisine and it was absolutely delicious! I recommend Shawn’s tour anytime any of my friends go to Japan. Also, all proceeds directly go to his small business and not a big corporate company which is a big plus in my book. 5 stars!

Thoughtful knowledgeable guide of Mount Fuji - Shawn is fantastic as other guests noted. He is very knowledgeable about the area, speaks excellent English and makes the day easy and enjoyable. He drives you there and back (we appreciated his playlist for the car ride) and picks great spots along the way to stop and visit. Given we had a bit of extra time, Shawn suggested two additional stops which were incredible. The weather was not conducive to a BBQ so Shawn recommended lunch at Kosensou (delicious venison curry) and the people there were extremely friendly. Overall a great day seeing Mount Fuji and the surrounding area, would absolutely recommend Shawn and this tour!

Excellent views of Mount Fuji - We had a great tour of Mount Fuji with Shawn . He took the most amazing pictures. The visibility wasn’t great at the beginning of the trip, but Mount Fuji decided to show up toward the noon hour. We had a wonderful lunch. Thank you for the wonderful tour!

Best tour in Japan, by far. - This was the best private tour we completed in Japan. We had such a personalised experience. Everything was catered for exactly what we wanted and liked to see. We had the best time with Sean and recommended this tour to our friends and other people we met along our travels. If you’re thinking about this tour, just book it. You won’t regret it.
