Nairobi to Hell’s Gate National Park to Lake Naivasha National Park

Hell’s Gate National Park - Your safari adventure begins when our driver guide picks you up from your Nairobi city hotel and drives you northwest to Lake Nakuru. En route, you’ll stop briefly at a viewpoint to admire the Great Rift Valley from a high vantage point. You’ll reach the entrance of Hell’s Gate around mid-morning and start a 2-hour biking tour within the park. Alternatively, you can choose to drive. Wildlife you might encounter includes Bushbucks, Dikdiks, Giraffes, Gazelles, Gnus, Hartebeests, Impalas, Klipspringers, Buffaloes, Hyraxes, Zebras, Hyenas, Jackals, Mongooses, Baboons, Monkeys, and Porcupines, among others. The park is also a significant habitat for the rare lammergeyer vultures. At 11 am, you’ll visit the gorges for an hour, capturing stunning views of the narrow land depressions where you can walk underneath. By noon, you’ll return the bike at the gate and visit the Maasai community on your way out. Lunch will be at Naivasha Fisherman’s Camp at 1 pm (own expense).

Lake Naivasha - At 2 pm, unwind with a serene boat ride on Lake Naivasha, where you can spot local wildlife such as hippos, buffalo, fish eagles, pelicans, and more for an hour.

Lake Naivasha to Lake Nakuru National Park

Lake Nakuru National Park - After breakfast, you’ll head to Lake Nakuru National Park for a game drive. The park is home to Giraffes, Waterbucks, Black and White Rhinos, Buffalo, Lions, and Leopards, among other wildlife. The lake’s shores are lined with thousands of Flamingos feeding on algae. Lunch will be at Buraha Zenoni Resort or a similar lodge. After lunch, you’ll depart back to Nairobi, arriving around 5 PM.
