Etosha National Park
Etosha Pan - Prepare for a 7:15 am pick-up this morning. The journey begins as we leave Windhoek for Etosha National Park, with a brief stop at Otjiwarongo or Outjo for a light lunch. Our afternoon game drive will take us leisurely through the park, pausing at waterholes where we may encounter large numbers of zebra, giraffe, elephant, rhino, and various antelope species. We will reach our accommodation by sunset. Dinner will conclude the day’s adventure, and a good night’s rest will prepare us for the next day’s early start. Overnight at Toshari Lodge or a similar venue.
Etosha National Park
Etosha Pan - An early start is encouraged to enjoy the natural surroundings and fresh air. After breakfast, we will embark on a game drive, visiting waterholes and the Etosha pan (salt pan) before exploring the park in search of the Big 4 and other wildlife. A light lunch will provide a break, recharging us for the next adventure. After a brief rest, we will visit our final waterhole, appreciating Namibia’s beauty one last time. We will arrive at Okaukuejo in the late afternoon, leaving the park before sunset, and visiting one last waterhole to admire another African sunset. Rest will follow. Overnight at Toshari Lodge or a similar venue.
Etosha National Park-Swakopmund
Swakopmund Jetty - Today, we will start early with a quick breakfast and depart from our lodge at 7:30 am. A long drive of 540km awaits. We will travel via Outjo, turning off before Otjiwarango towards Omaruru, where we will enjoy a picnic lunch. Omaruru is home to 14,000 residents and spans 352 square kilometers. Continuing through Karibib and Usakos, we will cross the Namib Desert to reach Swakopmund by mid-afternoon. In the evening, explore this charming seaside town on foot. Your guide can recommend a great restaurant for dinner (at your own expense). Overnight at Plaza Hotel or a similar venue.
Swakopmund- Windhoek
Avani Windhoek Hotel Casino - Prepare for the scenic journey back to Windhoek, passing through towns and rural areas. We will stop in Okahandja, known for Namibia’s largest wood carving market, where stalls operate cooperatively, offering a wide range of authentic Namibian souvenirs. We aim to return to Windhoek by 4:00 pm, where you will be dropped off at your accommodation.
