Windhoek- Sossusvlei
Sossusvlei - Guests will be collected from their hotel or guest house at 9 am, heading directly south to the renowned Sossusvlei via the scenic Spreetshoogte Pass. A stop at the viewpoint will allow for appreciation of the endless Namib views. Lunch will be enjoyed at the Solitaire oasis. Arrival at the lodge or campsite is expected around 3-4 pm. As this time of day is particularly hot, it is recommended to relax by the pool. An early rest is advised as an early start is planned for the following morning.

Dune 45, Sossusvlei - Desert Experience
Sossusvlei - At sunrise, the journey begins with a visit to the Sesriem Gate leading to the extraordinary Sossusvlei. The day starts with a climb up the stunning Dune 45, offering a chance to experience the vast, orange-hued landscape. An off-road drive will take visitors to Dead Vlei, a vast desert pan where ancient, dried acacias stand in a striking open-air gallery. For those with energy, climbing one of the world’s highest dunes, ‘Big Daddy’ or ‘Big Mama,’ is an option. After the morning adventure, lunch will be served back at Sesriem, followed by a 1-2 hour break. Once the heat diminishes, a short excursion to Sesriem Canyon will conclude the day’s activities.

Sossusvlei to Swakopmund
Kuiseb Pass - The journey transitions from desert to sea today. The route crosses the Tropic of Capricorn and traverses the Gaub. The Kuiseb Passes, descending to the dry riverbed at the base of the Kuiseb Canyon before ascending the other side, revealing the breathtaking desert landscape. Upon reaching the coast, a stop in Walvis Bay will offer views of flamingos and other birds in the lagoons. A short lunch break will be taken. The night will be spent in Swakopmund. Dinner will be at the client’s own expense at a local restaurant.

Sossusvlei-Walvis Bay - Swakopmund
Skeleton Coast – Swakopmund
Cape Cross - A brief walk to the Cape Cross Reserve is planned today. The reserve hosts one of the largest breeding colonies of Cape Fur seals, with up to 200,000 seals visible during the breeding season (November-December) – a unique sight and smell. After visiting the seal colony, the journey continues along the Skeleton Coast. A stop will be made to view the Zeila Shipwreck, a recent addition to the infamous Skeleton Coast from 2007.
Early in the afternoon, Swakopmund, Namibia’s premier seaside destination, will be reached. The remainder of the day is free for sightseeing and exploring the charming town on foot. Dinner will be at the guest’s own expense at one of Swakopmund’s excellent restaurants, with the guide available to offer recommendations or make reservations based on preferences.

Swakopmund- Windhoek – End of Safari
Windhoek - The final morning of the Namibia Safari begins early with a shuttle back to Windhoek. Arrival in Windhoek is expected between 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm. Guests will be dropped off at their chosen accommodation within Windhoek city limits or at the airport for their onward journey.
