Meet your guide in the hotel lobby in Nanjing city. Today’s tour includes the Ming Xiaoling Tomb, Linggu Temple, Zhonghua Gate, Confucius Temple, and Fuzimiao food and snack street.

First, you will visit the Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum, the resting place of the Hongwu Emperor (Zhu Yuanzhang) and Empress Ma. The Hongwu Emperor, founder of the Ming Dynasty, has a tomb that is around 500 years old.

Next, you will explore Linggu Temple, a Buddhist temple with a history spanning over 1,000 years. Following this, you will visit Zhonghua Gate, a defensive complex on the city wall of Nanjing. It is one of the largest and best-preserved Urn Gates in the world, known for its intricate structure.

The last stop is the Confucius Temple, which served as a center for Confucian study for over 1,500 years.

Afterward, you will have free time to shop on Fuzimiao Street, where you can find a variety of traditional local snacks, flavorful foods, and souvenirs. This lively street is a must-see attraction in Nanjing.
