A Journey Through Waterfalls and Tea Gardens

The moment I arrived in Nuwara Eliya, I was enveloped by the crisp, cool air that seemed to whisper promises of adventure. After the waterfalls, I made my way to the Damro Labookellie Tea Centre and Tea Garden. As a marine biologist, I have always been fascinated by the intricate ecosystems of the ocean, but the world of tea production offered a different kind of wonder. I was given a tour of the tea production process, from the plucking of the leaves to the final product. My journey continued to Single Tree Hill, where I was greeted with a panoramic view of Nuwara Eliya.
