A nice walk through the conservatory. - Danson was a great driver and had a lot of knowledge about the animals. He even had a bird book for me to see the descriptions of all the birds we saw. The conservatory was well maintained and everyone there was polite.

One of The Best - What an incredible experience, worth every penny/shilling. Our guide George picked us up promptly and drove us north several hours to Ol Pejeta. He offered to stop at the equator point where a local guide could show us around (we declined) - and he stopped along the road to buy us several bunches of local fruit we told him we liked, to enjoy with our breakfast. Over the course of the 4-5 hours George drove us through the game park, we saw just about every single species in the park (elephant and giraffe *incredibly up close and personal*, black and white northern rhino, buffalo, zebra, warthog, antelope, gazelle, and many birds) and the chimpanzees at the rescue center. The only animal we missed were the lions, who were deep in the forest avoiding the midday heat. George’s instinct for where to seek animals in the park (and frequent check-ins with other guide friends also working in the park) meant we felt like we were constantly spotting new creatures. Incredible. He stopped for photos whenever, and no matter how often, a request was made, and would often pivot the vehicle for us to get the best views. Lunch at Sweetwater was delicious with an excellent serving staff. We cannot say enough good things about our tour with George today - and recommend you ask for him when booking!

Magical day in Ol Pejeta - My mom and I had a great tour with Danson to Ol Pejeta Conservancy. We went as a day trip from Nairobi so it was a long day but definitely worth it. In addition to visiting the Chimpanzee Sanctuary, Baraka the black rhino, and Fatu and Najin (the last two Northern white rhinos on earth), we saw plenty of animals driving through the conservancy. I highly recommend this tour. Our guide Danson was great - very thoughtful, friendly, and knowledgeable!

Great safari - It is definitely worth visiting Ol Pejeta. Our guide, Antony was great trying to spot and show us all animals. It is also the home for the last living representatives of Northern White Rhinos, so it was a great experience. The only disappointment was we couldn't see chimps, they hid in the forest. So if you are going there for chimps only, put your expectations low...

Ol pejeta conservatory tour - The tour was amazing we saw lots of animals. A big thank you to our guide Danson, he was really good. The only negative thing was that when we booked with the tour operator it said that lunch not included would cost 25USD . But when we arrived there the cost was way more. Luckily Danson found us another place to eat!

Great Tour tailored to your Request - Our guide Tony was great, he accommodated all our requests allowing us time to see the chimpanzees, Equator marker and the Northern White Rhinos, he was also very knowledgeable about the animals we saw on safari. Would recommend him as he delivers on what the tour itinerary was sold as and gave us a good amount of time to see the Northern White Rhinos.

Wonderful experience! Getting to see the rhinos was incredible - We had a wonderful day with Simba as our guide & Black Santa as our driver, and highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to experience African wildlife from Nairobi but does not have the time to take a multi-day safari, or who is interested in Ol Pejeta’s incredible rhino sanctuary. It’s perfect for someone here on business too who wants to get out of the city for a day. We were able to see many animals on our game drives, as well as the last 2 northern white rhinos. It was really cool to get up close and meet Baraka (the blind black rhino under the care of Ol Pejeta) - I hadn’t realized that was part of this tour! The lunch stop was wonderful as well - loved getting to watch the animals at the watering hole. The only thing I would note is this tour may not be best for someone who has a hard time sitting for a long time or who is sensitive to heat - as this vehicle can be a bit of a bumpy ride and does not have air conditioning. The ride from Nairobi can take anywhere from 3 1/2 - 4 1/2 hours depending on traffic. Just something to keep in mind. Overall, though, this tour way wonderful thanks to our knowledgeable and fun guide and driver - ask for Simba & Black Santa when you book.😊

AMAZING EXPERIENCE - I was recently living and working in Nairobi for a few months and came across this gem of a tour company. Since I was visiting alone for work, I wanted to explore Ol Pejeta because of all the wonderful things I had heard. I must say, seeing is definitely believing. Ol Pejeta was absolutely amazing. Prior to my departure, finalizing the details of my tour was quick and easy. My trip details were taken care of by Everline, and she was always pleasant and willing to help with any of my questions. On the day of the actual conservancy tour, my tour guide Peter Oyugi arrived promptly at 5:00am as promised. I was pleased to be met with such great energy that early in the morning. I’m not typically a morning person, but Peter engaged in awesome conversation and was sure to discuss and showcase local landmarks and sights during the drive to Nanyuki (city in which Ol Pejeta is located). Upon arrival, he took me to visit the site of the equator, and let me do the little experiment where you can visibly see the magnetic impact that the forces around the equator has on the spiral formed as water is draining both north and south of the equator. Since I was traveling alone, Peter really tailored my trip towards my likes and interests, which I greatly appreciated (he also captured all my great photos of myself during the conservancy tour :-) ). At that point, I had not seen any lions during my stay in Kenya on any of my previous safaris. Peter made sure we were in the correct areas of Ol Pejeta throughout the day to spot the lions. We became pretty good buddies for the day! I would definitely leverage this tour company again. They are easy to work with, and from my experience, they really put the customer first. Thanks again perfect wilderness tours!
