Memorable and Fun! - We booked this trolley as part our 20th anniversary and we couldn't have been more been more happy with the tour. Overall, it was memorable, fun and worth it! After our initial disappointment at having to board a black shuttle bus and not a SF cable car-like trolley, we really had a great time. It was a bit cold outside anyway (our tour was in December) so it worked out for the better to ride in a warm and enclosed vehicle. Our driver, Jose, was awesome - super friendly, funny and knowledgeable about points of interest on the way up to our first wine tasting stop - Castello di Amorosa. After that, he kept the party going with great music and fun vibes. The bus was lively and festive. The three wineries chosen for the tour were great and also completely different from one another, adding to the interest and excitement of the tour. I rated this tour a 5 because of the tour itself - not the wineries. Keeping in mind, that the winery fees are not included (it says so in the description before you book), I don't believe it is fair to rate the tour on the prices that individual wineries charge. That should be a review for the wineries themselves (yes they can be expensive these days! But what isn't?). I recommend doing your homework. Look up the prices of the wineries on the itinerary before you book so you can budget accordingly; then you won't surprised. This tour really was one of the highlights of our trip to Napa. I think the average couple or group of friends would really enjoy this excursion!

Fantástico! - Great experience! Jose was an excellent guide with a lot of knowledge of the Napa area. Each stop had fantastic wine and vibes. It was a rainy day, so we did not get the trolley, but instead we got a VIP style sprinter van. No one from our group minded, and it kept us warm.

Great! - Mel was great! So friendly and knew a lot about the wineries. He also told us a lot of history about the town and the surrounding area.

Fun Time - Ending with a small family on winery where we had time with the actual wine maker (Backstage) was really awesome. In addition, the time at Raymond vineyard was really great. We had time to walk through their eco-friendly environment and actually taste grapes off the vine. So much diversity from vineyard to vineyard. Really a great time and the trolly driver was fun as well.

Fun with friends. Chilly in the trolley - Our driver was fantastic the only issue is the cost of each winery $59 for a wine tasting and entrance in the castle and they give you a sheet to choose the wines but the woman serving us kept saying she had a better selection. Out of her 5 choices we only liked one and non drinkers have to pay the same price. The other wineries were great

Fun, but pricey - I would only recommend if it's not raining. If rain is forecasted, cancel. Trolley will reach hwy speeds and you will get wet if not seated in enclosed area. Also, ask ahead which wineries will be toured and check prices. Two of the three wineries had pricey tasting/tour fees which are not covered.

Disappointed - Disappointing since we only went to ONE Castle. We already had booked wine tasting for the next day. And I the price for tastings was over overpriced.

Don’t waste your money! - Traveling 50-70 mph in an open air trolley while listening to ceaseless inane babbling about who lived where and location of Safeway. Then have to pay more than $200 each for tastings. When all done we could do the train tour for a much better experience. The wines were great and the views spectacular but you can do it on your own.
