- V Marketplace - After pickup from your designated meeting point in Yountville, your Napa Valley Wine Trolley tour takes you north on Highway 29, the scenic St Helena Highway. Make yourself comfortable in the open-air motorized trolley, and listen to commentary from your guide as you enjoy the fresh air and vineyard views during the drive up to the St Helena and Calistoga areas. After about 30 minutes, you’ll reach your first of three wineries, Castello di Amorosa.

Hop aboard the Original San Francisco Cable Car Wine Tour, a historical replica of a San Francisco cable car and grab a seat on a special wine tasting adventure you will never forget. This open-air trolley will let you experience the picturesque vineyards like no other tour.
The Up Valley Castle Tour heads north on a San Francisco Cable Car to Calistoga. The first stop is at Castello di Amorosa, a winery modeled after a 13th-century Tuscan castle for an extensive tasting. You will then enjoy an lunch at the famous Tre Vigne Pizzeria followed by stops at two other notable Napa Valley wineries. A knowledgeable guide will provide fun facts and information about Napa’s famous wines.

- No consumption of alcoholic beverages is allowed while riding the trolley
- You MUST advise any specific dietary requirements in the Special Requirements box at time of booking
- Jackets and rain protection are recommended in the winter months
- Operates in all weather conditions; please dress appropriately
- Napa Valley Wine Trolley operates “Rain or Shine” year-round. However, if there is a chance of rain, high winds, or unforeseen mechanical problems, we may have to substitute the trolley for a mini-bus. The Napa Valley Wine Trolley reserved the right to substitute or change tour stops at any time
- The Trolley departs V Marketplace at 10:00 sharp. Do not be late.
- Foreign language guides offered with notice: Spanish, French and Mandarin. Please contact the supplier directly after booking
- Tasting fees are not included in this tour prices vary but are average for Napa Valley. Stops change periodically according to season.

Amazing castle tour. - Brought my sister for her birthday. And we had an amazing, memorable time. I have been in many winery tours.But the castle, one by far, is my favorite. I wish I had remembered our trolley drivers name on this day. But he was beyond amazing. He took very good care of us.He made sure we had water. Must try this tour out. Love every bit of it.

Great castle winery trolley tour! - Super fun experience. Ladies, be advised most of the trolley is open and it goes on the highway. Bring a hat or clip if you don’t want your hair to blow wildly. Castello di Amorosa was just incredible. Only wish we had more time there! Lunch was more than expected, which is never a bad thing. We got off schedule and arrived at the 3rd winery a little late. Unfortunately for us, we had a dinner reservation in close proximity to the original return time. It all worked out in the end, but be sure to allow plenty of time afterwards. Our driver, Michael, was great! Highly recommend.

Fun day trip - This was a wonderful day trip. Our driver, Sam, was very informative and made the trip fun. Some on our trip did not know that entrance to the wineries was not included in our cost of the trip, so some were not prepared for those extra costs.the Castle winery, Raymond, and backstage we’re all excellent as were the hosts at each location. Lunch was also excellent and was included in the cost of the trip. We had a fun day!

Couple trip - Such a fun way to explore the wineries of the Napa valley. A very varied experience of tasting rooms, however at each the service was excellent. Special shout out to backstage as we not only had a very knowledgeable host he just so happened to be the wine maker and owner. Lunch at tra vigne was lovely as well. In all a very good day.

Super fun first-time visit! - First time to Napa Valley for my daughter and me. This is the only wine tour we went on, which was super fun. Each winery introduced us to several red and white wines along with interesting info on vineyard histories. I would recommend this tour to any Napa Valley first-timer.

Sister birthday! - Me and my sister's, cousins also my niece went on trolley and we had a great time, the only three things I can say about the tour was we was rushed at the castle, we had to drink our wine fast. But the server was fast at getting our drink's. The other thing was it was a couple that thought they could save they friend a seat in a certain area. The last thing was the last winery was very boring had to sit out in the heat and it's very hot Overall I had fun with the host Michael He was the best. The place we had food at was awesome and great they also encountered me in with vegan pizza as well as dessert!!

Wine Country Tour - Trolley Style! - The "alfresco" ride in the open air trolley-bus gave us a more natural and visceral wine country experience, and nicely dialed in on the boutique winery genre!

Fun Day in Napa Valley - It was a fun day traveling around Napa Valley on the trolley with Sam. It’s an expensive day but you do get a lot history and educated on the wine making process. I understand the tasting fees are not included but it would be nice to have an option for non drinkers to pay a lower fee per winery. We visited Castello de Amorosa, Raymond and Back Stage. My favorite winery was Castello de Amorosa for their wines and the astomphere. I found the Back Stage winery to be the most personable and I gained so much knowledge about wines. It was awesome that the owner/wine maker took time out of his day to spend with us. I would definitely do another wine tasting tour in Napa Valley if we ever make it back.
