Had an amazing time biking around Napier! - We had a fantastic time biking around Napier—the views were absolutely stunning! My husband had a flat tire twice, but the staff were incredibly kind, promptly picking us up and fixing it. Great service and a wonderful experience overall!

Excellent Service - Quality bikes ready and waiting upon our arrival. Staff ensured we were comfortable with everything before we set off and provided full back up details should we encounter any difficulties., which we didn't. Maps provided. Had a terrific day riding around Napier and surrounding countryside.

Wineries Tour - Great service. Maps are provided which will guide you round a magnificent route taking in vineyards and orchards. Bike for perfect!

Great way to enjoy the outdoors - Rented the bikes and rode to the winery. Bikes were in really good shape and check in was easy. They ask where you would like to go and provide a map. The day we went it was very cold so riding against the wind to the winery was very cold. The scenery was great and pedal assist on the bike was very helpful. It took about 2 1/2 hours to get to the winery. Once we got there we decided we did not want to ride all the way back and called the company to see if they could pick us up. They did for a fee but did seemed annoyed about doing it.

Great bike hire located on waterfront - Easily located on waterfront, staff were helpful and of good nature making sure bike and helmet were setup correctly. Map provided and off we went. Great route along some very picturesque coastline. Team were very punctual to ensure pick at last winery pre 4pm to get us back to cruise ship . Recommended to all as very flat and easy leisurely ride.

Napier city bikes waterways bike tour - We made the booking on line. So the bikes were all ready for us when we arrived along with maps. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We cycled through lovely scenery and visited two wineries the first was the Mission Estate winery were the views were beautiful, we tasted four different wines and we were provided with written information about them. We then visited Church road winery which was in a beautiful spot. We tasted five wines and had a very informative talk about how to taste wines from one of the members of staff who was from Canada he was extremely knowledgeable and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Highly recommend reserving a bike and it just showing up - We were able to rent an tandem and it was an awesome place to practice riding together. We were so happy we made a reservation thru Viator because the bikes were in short supply and one woman was going to be turned away because all they had left for her was a child's bike. When we got there our bikes were reserved and safety tucked away. I think they were happy exchanging our bikes for a tandem so more people could rent. It's a very popular bike store.

Nickel and Dime act. - Charged my 12 year old $60 extra for 'breaking' your lemon bicycle, which we returned within 6 minutes of acquiring. Left him in tears, ruined the day & was the only low-point in an otherwise wonderful trip to New Zealand, where we encountered non-stop friendly & lovely people over 3 weeks, with the exception of Napier Bike Hire. Sorry, you can have a nice review, or $60, but you can't have both.
