Very nice - The panorama tour and the views of Vesuvius. Wait times were a little discouraging, but after we got on the bus, it was great.

Tour worth seeing - The blue line provided some very picturesque views. The red line tour was less than an hour. The ride was bumpy but you were able to get a good sight of the city. Since we came from the cruise line the driver dropped us off at the terminal. I would recommend this tour of Naples.

convenient way to cover the entire area - We did enjoy seeing both routes offered on the Naples hop-on, hop-off tours. Good way to understand the lay of the land in the metropolitan area as well as the surrounding area.

One way of seeing the ciry - Thought we'd get our bearings od Napoli by taking a tour of the city on the hop on hop off bus. Ticket prices were reasonable when compared with other city bus tours (London & Chicago were four times more expensive). The tour had two routes, red and blue. The red takes you around the busy city centre whilst the blue takes you out of the city and across the bay area. A set of earphones come with the ticket as you board the bus, but mine didn't work properly (cheap phones, poor quality). The pre-recorded commentary was enough to give you a flavour of the city's history. Red tour takes around 40 minutes and the blue 70 minutes. Tours start from 9am until 5pm so a 24hr ticket description is a bit misleading, however, the ticket is valid for 24hrs so if you start you tour in the afternoon, you can complete the following day in the morning.

An elementary tour - The activity has two routes, one that runs through the historic center and another through the bay, with beautiful panoramic views. The frequency is good, as is the signage of the stops. You can start the tour at any of them. However, the information it provides is very brief, lacking basic data about the city and its rich history. Moreover, although it allegedly operated until 6.25 p.m., in practice more than an hour earlier buses leaving the initial stop were no longer operating.

The sightseeing is great the staff is not - The tour was great, the staff in the buses were overtly rude and condescending and were not helpful either. We rode both lines and it was the same with different women on both.

Bad ticket experience - Digital tickets would not download, vendor was no help; required me to purchase more tickets. Subsequent contact with vendor resulted in their sending me one ticket after the fact. )I had purchased two)
