Experience a tour of the Pompeii Ruins starting from Naples Central train station, with a 3-hour self-guided exploration of the site. Our driver will escort you to the entrance of the Pompeii Ruins and will be waiting to take you back to Naples Central train station after your visit.

Our knowledgeable, English-speaking driver will provide historical commentary about the site’s history. You will have 3 hours to discover this globally renowned ancient ruin, “The Survived Town,” where you can sense the ancient drama of the catastrophic eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 A.D. that devastated the town and its residents. Witness the remnants and casts of a 2000-year-old Roman town. After your exploration, we will return to the pickup location.

(We highly recommend hiring an expert guide inside the ruins for a more enriching experience; please mention this in the notes if needed). (OPTIONAL) You will also have the opportunity to enjoy a quick Neapolitan pizza lunch after the excursion.

The tour concludes back at Naples Central Train Station, where you can catch your train back to Rome.
