Fun trip to Nara - Our guide was Shin. He showed us the key sights at Nara, provided background explanation and had additional pictures to display special events that happen at other times of the year. Shin is very personable and made it a fun tour.

Great half day tour for our family - Tammy was a great tour guide. She gave us some options for getting to the different places since I have bad knees. She explained the history and answered questions about Japan in general. She was patient with our group and is wealth of knowledge. The food was amazing, but a little far. Thank you for a great tour!

Lovely day seeing the sights and feeding deer - We had a great tour of Nara with Tammy. We really enjoyed seeing the temples and shrines, and especially enjoyed meeting and feeding the deer. Tammy was very friendly and knowledgeable and looked after our small group well. She made sure we had plenty of crackers to feed the deer, and then made sure we enjoyed our delicious lunch, explaining what each bit was. One of our favourite days so far in Japan.

Amazing day trip to Nara! - We had so much fun on this tour! Our guide, Eri, was lovely to chat with. She answered our many questions about Nara and Japanese history, offered to take photos of us throughout the day, and gave us some great restaurant recommendations for when we returned to Kyoto. The views (and of course the adorable deer) made this day trip one to remember. Definitely recommend!

Great experience. - Very caring and engaged local tour guides. They shared a lot of their local knowledge. Due to the small group they were able to answer any single question individually. Food was also excellent.

Lovely day in Nara with Sri - We had a fun time with Eri. She has a cheerful welcoming personality and has just enough English to make herself understood and also give a sense of cross-cultural connection. Deer were everywhere and Eri led us on a beautiful stroll through the shrines and temples of Nara park. We had lunch in a local restaurant where we got to try many small local dishes. It was tasty though not the best that we've had on this trip. We would recommend this tour as Eri was able to describe the traditions and history alongside the sights we were seeing which helped to give depth and understanding to what we were seeing.
